Question is, is Pawlenty in it to win it, or is he a stalking horse busting up Huckabee so Huck never gets in the game?

...considering how Iowa swooned over Obama and launched his campaign, I have no confidence in their judgement...Republican or Democrat.

If we had to take a boring Governor, I’d rather have Indiana’s Mitch Daniels.

'Question is, is Pawlenty in it to win it"

I don't know. It sure doesn't seem like he has any fire in the belly, no passion whatsoever. I don't know if you have to mirror Obama's charisma, but you have to have at least some charisma, to be believable. Pawlenty has none.

Iowans, as a group, are not well informed. They are sheep that follow the Baaa in front of them.

Pawlenty is a smooth Romney shill, which is even worse than Huck, the liberal Dem in RINO clothing.

Far from Breaking News and all this emphasis on the 2012 Presidential race distracts us from the cause at hand, defeating Obama’s plans for 2011.

Pawlenty?

Hahahahahahahahahahah.

We’re trying to beat Obama. What has Pawlenty said or done to make you believe he’s the one?

Why a conservative would vote for Elmer Gantrybee is beyond me.

Pawlenty signs bill increasing ethanol content in gasoline
(May 10,2005)
St. Paul, Minn. — Gov. Pawlenty signed the ethanol mandate into law at a gas station that sells E-85, a blend containing 85-percent ethanol.
The new law would double the state’s current requirement that all gasoline sold in the state contain 10 percent of the corn-based additive.

I bet this would impress them, too.

Making a commitment to anybody at this stage of the game is stupid.

Either answer is just as good for me. No More Big Spending Republicans, period.

Pawlenty has said some things I like a lot (entitlements) and some things I don't like (ethanol).

And like the rest of the field, he is spookily silent on the subject of the corrupt banking sector.

Still wide open for me, only Romney and Huckabee are completely off the table.

Sigh. Yes, sadly, what it takes to be president is not only knowledge and good policy, but presence, charisma, and the ability to communicate.

Funny, we DO have a candidate who possesses all of those things, however, guys like Pawlenty and such just don’t seem to want to get behind HER ....hmmmmm.

SHE is also spookily silent on the subject of the corrupt banking sector.

When she grabs the issue with both hands, the Palin '12 sign goes up in my yard.

According to local talk radio host Steve Deace the following candidates are seen as organizing to win the Iowa Caucuses.
• Michelle Bachmann
• Haley Barbour
• Herman Cain
• Newt Gingrich
• Ron Paul
• Governor Tim Pawlenty
• Rick Santorum

Palin and Huck are definitely NOT making an effort and Mitt Romney will most likely try to have a small presence late in the game.

I personally think the “stalking horse” stuff is a fragment of overheated imaginations.
