I have been advocating this kind of “life insurance” for the biosphere and humanity for a long time. The Earth is regularly bombarded by celestial objects. The most recent large impact was in S. America about 10,000 years ago. The object broke up and a number of pieces hit Argentina and Uruguay. It released about 1000 megatons of energy and probably killed most of the animals in S. America.

Freepers, it’s time to store up food sufficient for at least two years. Remember, it does not have to be fancy; you just need enough calories to keep your family alive. If you want food packaged to keep at least 20-100 years, try Walton Feed online.
