If anything, this is a great time for the Egyptian military, along with Israel to wipe out Hamas in Gaza. Would definitely make Hezbollah think twice.
Hopefully, Egypt will be able to kill them.

The Illinois National Guard is part of a joint task force patroling Egypts border. There was concern for their safety because of the rioting. A spokesman for the Guard said they could take care of themselves just fine.
The STRATFOR article was the first one where I saw that the Egyption police quit their patroling duties along the border.

Israel should consider moving in and sealing the boarder between Gaza and Egypt.
