Yes exactly.
The whole thing started with Carter and the betrayal of Iran and Israel in support of terrorists. And Reagan in Beruit.
The nieve thinking was “if we just give them what they want, they will play nice. But, of course, it only made them stronger. They saw the West as soft and weak and able to be conquered.
I refer to Carter as the father of modern Islamic terrorism.
