It only sounded like a punch in the gut to those who cherish the constant line of bullsh*t that comes out of Obama's mouth.

Dana Milbank is extremely threatened by any strong woman, i.e. Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin, etc.

I think even a weak woman could take him down.

That’s what I love about Bachmann....I’m sure it was more like a punch in the balls. I need to see the video.

I’m not sure Obama will be on the ballot in 2012 but if by some miracle he qualifies, do you think Michele can go toe to toe with the marxist’s teleprompter?

That is what can beat obama. Kissy kissy George HW McDole crap is a sure fire way to get trampled again. Every sentence out of Bachmann’s mouth contradicts Obama’s baloney.

It will be hard to choose between Michelle & Sarah, I love them both. I am afraid the other Pubbies will sell out.

The establishment Republicans will want to nominate another wienie like McCain or Romney again and then wonder why they lost another election.

It occurs to me that the kumbaya seating arrangement for the SOTU was more to disguise the lack of support for Zero than any show of unity - the usual large blocks of non-standing non-clappers were eliminated. Had Pelosi chosen to sit with the new Majority Whip, instead of a group that ate Dove Chocolates thru the speech, I might be convinced to think otherwise. I wasn’t truely interested in anything said by either side - in fact was disappointed the camera wasn’t on Pelosi playing pogo stick to everything Zero said (did she? or was she too busy eating chocolates?)

Until Bachmann made her presentation, the evening was relatively boring and disappointing - then I was all ears - too bad Fox had the wrong camera angle on her.

I thought the Ryan response was pretty weak tea. Here’s the transcript of Bachmann’s response:

Conservative women have more cajones than the republican lapdogs in leadership roles these days.

And you just knew that the young Duncan Hunter would do the same:

Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-El Cajon, whose district includes parts of North County, has no Issa-like plans for a date with a Democrat.

“The congressman plans on sitting wherever he can find a seat,” said his spokesman, Joe Kasper, adding that Hunter might not get a place to sit if he doesn’t arrive early.

The House doesn’t have enough seating to accommodate all 435 members of the House and 100 members of the Senate plus the president’s cabinet, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Supreme Court justices and others.

“If there are no seats, then he’ll stand in back of the chamber with other members,” Kasper said.

Yes, anyone with half a brain cell ought to be able to see the Tea Party steam roller crancking up behind this woman.

I like her response video clip.
