Uh, Eric, we all figure he's a "citizen". Get it straight.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor says he believes Obama is a citizen and that most Americans are beyond that question. Most Americans think that Social Security is a "trust fund", the "Federal Reserve" is a government entity, and incandescent light bulbs cause hurricanes.
None of these things are true, Eric the Tool.
Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

No one questions his citizenship - we're all certain he's a U.S. Citizen. George Soros and Arnold Schwartzenegger are U.S. citizens, but they're not eligible for the office of POTUS.

Just damn... these completely IGNORANT (or not so ignorant, just banking on the average US citizen’s ignorance) politicians are in charge of CREATING LAWS? It’s not about being a “citizen.” Lots of folks are CITIZENS, it’s an issue of is he a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.
Gah, we are freakin doomed.

Birth records in Hawaii haven't dissuaded them.
There are still birth records in Hawaii?

I am a USA citizen born in USA. My older brother was a USA citizen born in the USA. Both of us served in the US Army WWII. My brother lies in the Punch Bowl, killed on Okinawa. Our parents were not USA citizens. Neither of us was eligible for POTUSA, even though I thought so in grade school. We both loved the USA through the depression days. Yes I am very protective of the distinction between ‘citizen’ and ‘natural born citizen’.

Or translated:
“He is a citizen”. “But I can neither confirm nor deny if he meets the legal requirements for the office of President.”

The problem here is that there are way more questions than answers on Obama and whether he is a Citizen.
I hate to say it but hearings are called for and this issue needs to be investigated to make a determination one way or another.
The Supreme Court has pretty much said this is a Congressionial matter.
There are a lot of implications if Obama is not a citizen eligible to be President.
It would most certainly mean that every document he has signed has no validity under the law and the constitution.
Cantor and the current leadership are the same old Republicans of no leadership, the lapdogs they always have been.
It may prove to be unpopular to investigate but it should be done to either prove or disprove it. You can bet if this was reversed the Democrats would.
