Anyone have have a link to an on-line web cam from the island?
The population density of Seoul and the surrounding area makes me believe the death toll would be much higher than 200k. If chemical weapons are used it will be extreme. NK has extensive chemical weapon stocks with the delivery systems.
No problem. Many NK people are starving and I think that leads people to believe it would be a cake walk.
The elite of NK eat very well.
I’ve seen reports that even the NK’s military isn’t getting as much food as they used to in the last couple of years.
That could be whats leading to this aggression from NK. The military leaders see’s their power slipping away.
What a peculiar thing to say. Just what is "too far" when operating on your own soil?
Tell me, would you rather do battle with someone who has lived with all the comforts of lights, heat and the other comforts of civilization or with someone that has lived with nothing but hardships, the cold and unfamiliar with all the comforts of civilization. Wich one would be the most adaptable to combat on the Korean peninsula.
I think we're past the "if" stage.
A web cam from Seoul might be better
Can’t find one but I thought this link may help in some cases if the war expands.

Keep an eye on the Northeast and Southern outermost roads. A busy city center ( mostly red and yellow ) is normal and was even during the last NK attacks. The outer ring is usually mostly green even during rush hour.
The UN demarcation line went between NK and the islands. They were given to SK jurisdiction provisionally, pending conclusion of a peace agreement. Since the peace agreement obviously has never come, the islands stay where they are—SK-controlled territory.
Thanks
The price for playing nice with rabid dogs for half a century.
Eventually, they eat your kids.

Great source from VOA. https://twitter.com/w7voa/status/16666168970444802
One of the reasons NK is so tipped over is that the islands, lying W of NK and the prevailing winds being to the E are an ideal launching place for propaganda balloons that SK launches constantly.
200,000 leaflets went out last week with American $1 bills urging the NK troops to stand down in a crisis. The leaflets also are a "Free Safety Pass" in the event of war.
SK can play the game too.
the Nikkei is unfazed.
Did anyone bring the popcorn?
Looks like showtime in a few minutes. Just saw a photo up linked from a reporter on Yeonpyang at 0146 GMT, 5 minutes ago, that showed gas masks going on.
