Yard work starts too early here. I am putting in a drip system. It helps keeps unwanted plants from growing in inappropriate places. Now if I could train the sugarfoot to dig up just weeds.

Good luck with that.
Critters tend to eat the decorative plants and leave the weeds.
But I’ll show them.
I’ll show them all!
I’ll plant wildflowers that look like weeds, that will fix them!
Or just make the critters think I’m nuts and they’ll leave my garden alone.

Snowing right now. I trimmed my beard yesterday...YIKES! LOL just seeing if you where paying attention.. I cannot complain, so this is a good thing!!

Drive-by on my way to Cub Scouts. Sally has strep throat. Dr. said she was the second child this week with the same funky symptoms (headache, vomiting, but no sore throat) and a positive strep culture. Nice to know what it is and have something to do about it.

Having had strep which eventually evolved into rheumatic fever, I can tell you for sure, there is seldom a sore throat as a symptom. Strep is not synonymous with sore.

The first bout I had with it did produce rheumatic fever, which has a whole different set of symptoms (I was eight years old) and the second bout was the beginning of the onset of CFIDS.

It is nothing to trifle with and is highly contagious. But I'm sure the doctor has told you all that. Take care of all of you! *HUGS to Sally*

Your life never seems to have a dull moment, even though you would like us to think otherwise. *wink*

Grandson and wife are in mourning, now. The baby wasn’t “viable.” The pregnancy was slowly killing the mom. So I’m not a happy ex-GG-Ma.

In other news, another nephew is getting married, soon, and I think he’s the last of the second-generation offspring. And there are LOTS of them!!

Also, another nephew has announced the pending birth of his first child, to take place in May. He’s two years younger than my son, I think. (There are so many, I have a hard time keeping up with them all... )
