To: I see my hands

Hard to say, your other posting history suggests that might be the case, that you also against these intrusive and debasing procedures.

Yet I responded to your posts, post by post. I find your use of the tabled boxes off-putting too, and that has colored my response.

Anyway, it helped me resolve more exactly what specific things I am saying that good citizens must not stand for, and resist with all possible ability when in the midst of them.

That being the indecent touching and the forced separation of family members. One should also refuse the “naked scanner” for reasons of indecency, in addition to a very reasonable concern that the scanners have a unnecessary health risk.

Other Liberty issues, of rights stolen in this process of airport screening since 9/11 that should be re-asserted, but those are temporarily sufferable while action is taken to restore them.

The indecent searches and scans, and the forced separation of families — of child from parent, of spouses — is intolerable even temporarily.

Re procedeures, NASA spelled it that way:

Database fei
Stored Procedeures

I didn’t do the photoshopping and spelling, but procedeures may be a way the Brits spell it. A long time ago, I learned to never argue with a Brit re any English Spelling.

There are a few major defense contractors including Lockheed-Martin and Raytheon who provide private airport security services. Rep. John Mica (R-Florida) has become their advocate in this issue. I'm not against privatizing government. Any airport that privatizes security ends up hiring the TSA agents the privatization displaced. And Mica has a good conservative voting record. I'm against media-driven mob mentality. The anger gets focused on the TSA handlers who are just following policy. Many of these people are veterans of our current wars.
