“Allred got paid, we just dont know who paid her. The last minute stunt worked.”
Agreed. Allred pulled off the the sting that Dan Rather failed to pull off on Bush in the 2004 Pres election.
It’s really bothersome that an illegal alien can help throw an election for the Gov of California, but not surprising. Nearly half the people in this country have no issue with illegals wandering their streets, sucking in national treasure while paying little to nothing in taxes and, yes, also committing violent crimes.

I think this was a staged event considering the timing of when the maid, came forward to disclose what she did about Meg Whitman. I certainly do not believe for all her trouble , Meg knew she was illegal and yet did nothing and $ 5,500 will make it all right. I just cannot help but feel the maid was offer x amount of dollars to go public.$ 5,500 hardly seems like a very good offer for the maid to appear on TV, it be shown she was using, I beleive someone else's documents as being her own documents. Some how the maid did not do this for the sake of collecting $ 5,500.There must be other motives and promises made to ensure she will be well taken care of . I just cannot see $ 5,500 lasting very long in Mexico. I think the timing of all this came out, during the last few weeks of the election, suggest, there is more to the story, then I want my 5,500.If she is deported she would need at least a few thousand to be smuggled back into the country. Thus say leaving her, with $ 3,500, and then include personal expenses, once she is back in the country. This just does not sound like a deal worth taking.
