Didn’t we say the same thing about 0bamacare passing the Senate?

It may not get past the Senate. But I would not be surprised if it does. Which Dem Senator wants to be vote number 41 to keep it in place? One of the 23 Dems up for re-election in 2012? And some of those guys are from red states who are suing against 0bama care. How will the Senators from Virginia vote?

At least get the Rats on record a couple of times. And what will that eunuch of a POTUS do if a repeal measure makes it through both houses with bipartisan support? Will he have the balls to veto it?

What does it take to repeal Obama, the Kenyan Dictator?

I thought he was a Keynesian.

Obama = Keynesian

We know these b**tards will never give in one iota.

We also know Republicans do give in if nothing else to keep the peace, and they will say, “sorry, we tried”...so we wait and wait.

Not good enough. We’ll have to have complete control. We have seen what low-life cheaters they are that stop at nothing to get what they want.

The old saying...Two can play that game. 2012...FULL THROTTLE AHEAD starting...yesterday!

we will need this site to combat the leftist, more then ever!

Since all funding originates in the House they don’t even need the Senate to block any funding needed.

Something that’s been concerning me, between McConnell’s and Boehner’s statements about all this, is that they will play it out as a political game. What had better damn well NOT happen is the Repubs pussyfoot around with this thing just to give themselves an issue to run on in 2012.

21 Dem Senators and 2 (dem) Independents up for reelection in 2012, like the HOR cares what Gibbs/Obama says or thinks.

Gibsy, you are thinking short term. Obamacare will the albatross for the 2012 elections as well. Take solice in the fact that your hyper partisan attempt to cram commiecare on a free people will be the demise of the democratic party that you radicals infiltrated and ultimately destroyed, just like parasites. Fortunately for America, there is not another host available for you to survive on as the republican party is going through a restoration care of the the Tea Party and like minded patriots.

Making those Senators vote FOR it again will be lots of fun.

Lots of Senators from ‘red states’ will be up next time. They will suffer the same fate as all of those House members that lost their jobs. The only thing that could possibly save them will be having 0bama on the ballot. I have no doubt that he will draw out the freak show to vote for him as they did the first time. (my precinct this past Tuesday looked TOTALLY different than it did two years ago)

....But what will happen if 0bama doesn’t draw the same number in the freak demographic that he did in 2008, while the conservatives have an increased turn out? It will be a slaughter.

We could be looking at gains in the House, near 60 votes in the Senate, and winning the presidency. We only have to choose a GOOD Conservative candidate to lead the ticket. (not sure who that should be at this point)

De-fund the White House.

Start with the nonsensical boondoggle to India. Too bad he's going under cover the the lame duck Congress.

I don’t think Obama has the power to twist arms and buy people off like he did the last time. He can’t buy them off with the House blocking it. And he has lost his perceived authority.

Also, only a third of the Senate came up in this election. Another third come up in 2012, and the rest in 2014.

How many Democrats in conservative leaning states will dare vote to block healthcare repeal if they are seen as helping to throw people out of jobs and killing the economy?

They’ve seen many of their fellow Senators thrown out on their ears for supporting this monstrosity. It’s pretty certain that at least of few of them won’t dare to oppose the repeal, which is clearly the will of the people.

Obama can still veto, but I don’t think he can count on the Senate to cover for him. He hasn’t exactly covered for them, has he?

Even if it did pass the Senate, Obama would veto and we would need 2/3 majority in both House and Senate to override the veto. That might be a tall order. defunding until 2012 sounds easier.

“Even if repeal does not pass the Senate in 2011 we can make them stick their neck out for 2012.”

That is exactly what they’ll have to do, and none will be too happy about it...

Depends on how many of those Dems still in the senate want to survive 2012. Gibbs needs a recount.

Has anyone done research on this guy and how he got to where he is?

Did he at some point catch Obama screwing a goat or what?

“Also, only a third of the Senate came up in this election. Another third come up in 2012, and the rest in 2014.”

I believe there are many more Dems than Repubs up for re-election in 2012; one of the reasons taking the Senate was a long shot for this cycle was that many of the Senante elections were for Repub seats. Still they held them and gained some; hence it was a bad election for Dems.

We’ll tell Red State Democratic Senators if they don’t vote with us to repeal Obamacare, they’ll be out in the next election. Think they still want to walk the planks? We’ll find out soon enough if they do.

Though Republicans are rattling their sabers with threats to repeal the new healthcare and financial regulatory laws, the White House feels safe with its buffer in the Democratic Senate.

Thanks to idiot voters in CA, DE, NV, and AK!
