This guy is the most disgusting, irreverent, toothache of a man you can imagine...if any republican acted like he did, the press would destroy him....

What do we read here? He’s “feisty,” “combative,” GAG

Even the bathhouse homos love to call him “Rahm”.

“Not a chance in hell for him to be Mayor.”

Right, like folks vote for Daley. If Daley wants to retire, he might appoint Rahm, and the votes will reflect that.

...“characteristically combative” and “downright annoyed” at some of their questions.

Why do I get this feeling that Hussein fired Rahm and they just don't want to chat about it? He leaves so he can go live in an already occupied house for some bogus reason like running for mayor? Something smells.

Rahm does not have the mental fitness to competently manage a dog pound.

Just like that jackass former boss.

This election will be entertaining.

My 2 cents . .. Rahm is unelectable. But hey, it is Chicago and all things are possible with enough money.

Darn. No mention that he probably isn't even qualified to run as he has not been a resident of Chicago for a sufficient amount of time.

Oh well, if that sort of thing doesn't matter with regard to our Prez, then why should we worry about something as minor as the mayor of the third largest city in the US?

Why did Daley only decide not to run after Rahm had allowed his renter to re-up his lease?

Was Daley trying to guarantee that Rahm would not be the one to replace him?

Something smells. ....I get the feeling Hussein fired Rahm. So Rahm manufactures a bogus reason to leave, like running for mayor.........

You got that right. The mayoral thingy is to help make egotistical Rahm think he's still a player.

Rahm was anointed as the architect of the Dem WH and Congressional takeover. But the victories were short lived.

Cued in by angry constituents, at-risk Democrats began to see Ohaha as a tarnished leader out of touch with the damage done to his own party, and their reelection chances........and Rahm was fingered the culprit.

Rahm became personna non grata. There's an old country song: "Thank God and Greyhound he's gone"

*** Why did Daley decide not to run , and who is he backing ? ***

Okay. The first part is a long answer. Lets just say he's used all his favors and his machine is no more. (Thanks to Patrick Fitzgerald putting everyone in prison.)

As to backing - He's backing no candidate at this point. (and It would almost be like a kiss of death)

Now as to Rahm. He has two chances of becoming Mayor: 'Slim' and 'None'. And Slim left town.

FYI, the inside money is now going on Tom Dart, the Cook County Sheriff. The Blacks like him, the 'hispanics' like him and what Whites are left in Chi, they like him. He really could Clean House, he's and honest Dem, and NOT a leftwing moonbat. (by 'like' I mean they think he treats them fairly. Rare for cop in Chi)

Rahm's campaign theme song should be:

'Turn out the lights, the party's over'
Though I hate to do that to Willie Nelson.
Even though Willie is a pothead.
