There are always self-identified conservatives who insist that we must moderate our attacks on the forces of evil, even though said FOE don’t trouble to moderate their attacks on us. This is foolish.
It is long past time for decent people to wake up and realize that when dealing with scumbags, civility is nothing but a self-imposed handicap.
It is too late to save the US by “effecting change” in the hearts of liberals. Inflaming outrage among decent people is exactly what needs to be done. Some timid souls fret that effective rhetoric will only “entrench the opposition.” If one thinks liberals could possibly be more entrenched or closed-minded than they already are, then I suggest that they are overestimating leftards. If they think that any degree of “extremism” on the part of decent people could possibly make the situation worse than it already is, then I don’t think they understand the severity of the problems we face.
Mark Steyn wrote of PC wankers complaining about conservative speech that “…their complaints are frivolous and decadent, and more determined groups are using the patterns they’ve established to shut down debate on things we should be talking about. The ability to give and take offense is what separates free societies from Sudan.”
All leftist thought, from the limousine liberalism of a George Clooney to the mass murders of Mao, Stalin, or Che Guevara, is of and from Satan. It is a contaminant in the human cognosphere, not a natural component of it.
After a hundred million innocent dead in the twentieth century, no liberal is entitled to the slightest consideration, courtesy, or civility. Liberals should be reviled, abominated, spat upon, even beaten, whenever they have the gall to show their faces in the presence of decent people.
Dear Lord, help us to drive the left entirely out of political and social power, first in the US, the country You founded, and then across the face of the Earth. Amen.

Civil discourse is all well and good when you deal with people willing to be civil. When they stop, it’s a waste of your time.
I am hoping we won’t find ourselves in a civil war, but not willing to make any bets on it.
