That’s true. However, don’t dismiss the Rangers. This is not the same bunch of inept patsys from the 96 and 99 seasons.

However, sincere congratulations to the Rangers on their win over the dreaded Yankees and in expectation of their first World Series appearance.
The Rangers paid A-Rod big $$$ to help them go to the World Series....he finally came through.
I believe the Rangers are the only baseball team to be bankrupted and make the World Series in a single season. Only in America.
