Yeah, but only for a few days. And usually the questions were referred to the Press Secretary. I only remember one reporter bringing up Broderick to Clinton’s face, and he just had a “no comment, see my lawyer” response(while his face turned bright red, of course). If Bush or any other conservative was accused of such a heinous crime, it would have been the lead off story for months, resulting in the removal of the accused party.
And I'm among those who believe his failure to act when he had a chance is why we're paying for this WOT now. The factcheck.org and DU links that are returned seem to confirm this, even as they're trying to defend him. Read them and decide for yourself. Yet even with that burden, Bush and the GOP Congress were on their way to paying it down until 2007.
