AARP lost tens of thousands of members over their endorsement of the Health Care Bill.

Whoa - that is a depressing article. Is there nothing the pols won’t do to manipulate and deceive the voters?

Very depressing. There seems to be no end to the fraud which seems to have accelerated during Bush I. I read this post at FR earlier outlining a loop hole in the insider trading law that allows congress critters and their staffs to benefit from insider trading.

Unfortunately for us all, McCarthy, Goldwater, and Birch were correct. Having completed None Dare Call It Consiracy, I am reading None Dare Call It Treason by Stormer. The seeds were planted a long time ago.

***Money transferred electronically may be sitting untouched in bank accounts of dead people.”***

The Feds have the ability to reverse the deposit and get the money back . . . so what is stopping them?

The SSA says that the stimulus package didn’t include a provision allowing it to try to retrieve funds that were mistakenly sent out, so it can’t try to retrieve the rest of the money.

Now these federal slugs need a “provision” to do the right thing? It doesn’t occur to any of them that there might not be a “provision” that prevents them retrieving the funds either? (sigh)

There you go...they conveniently leave certain items out of the inflation calculation. We all see the price hikes when shopping but the brilliant liberals who determine what the rate of inflation is see fit to ignore many of them.

The Social Security Administration offices in our area waste enough money to cover the costs of increases for all the people in this area.

They waste more through their incompetence and mismanagement, than most agencies have to start with.
They treat themselves on your dime, while older people are hungry. They barely work when they are there. They use gov supplies for their own needs, and take plenty home too.

They waste millions of dollars needlessly shuffling people through their disability applications, because they are too incompetent to do things right the first time.

They really are “federal sluggs”..........
