Ah, the ole argument that (most of the time) refutes itself.
Here's a lesson: When someone tells you or tells someone to "stop judging," well, what would you call what they are doing at that time? (That's right, they themselves are "judging.")
Now "judging" isn't always wrong. I mean, if we tell our kids not to shack up...well, hey, we're in essence making a moral "judgment" about all those who do -- if only offered up indirectly.
But when we have some moral arbiter here, like Freddd, who says "stop judging" and then adds that Beck's "not judging" and we're supposed to believe Freddd's judgments about who is "judging" and who isn't -- we're talking about an incredible complex level of intricate parsing here.
Freddd, let's just lay it on the table: You're "judging" WND about their "judging."
And you know what? I'm "judging" that you have "judged" WND's supposed "judging."
And then somebody can pipe in and say, "Hey, C, you're 'judging' Freddd about his 'judging'"...
...And we could go on ad infitinum.
Hey, we all "judge." We all make assessments. And some us discern as we do so based upon consistent standards; and others don't. But let's stop pretending that we don't offer up "judgments."
The bottom line here is: Don't tell others to "stop judging" if you yourself are not willing to "stop judging." 'Cause you know, you just wind up preaching to (& refuting) yourself!
Alright...should have hit the spell-checker: infinitum
Hey, give it a rest Behzinlea. Your less-than-discerning inconsistent obsession in opposing those you perceive to be "anti" (which, by the way, even if it was conceded, only makes you an anti-'anti') is starting to define you. And it's uglier than ugly...'cause it means you tolerate falsehood. And that's not a very nice quality among several Bible writers and even a certain God-man named Jesus Christ, who critiqued seven of the early churches. Here's what He had to say about a few of them & their so-called "virtue" of "tolerance":
14Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: You have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality. 15Likewise you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth... 20Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. 21I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. (Revelation 2)
