I respect your opinion but he is what he is and the people of Delaware apparently don’t trust him with the big votes. There are a lot of republicans ahead or moving up fast that the so called GOP establishment said could not win. They also backed the likes of Spectere and Scarzzafava. I would rather send the clear message about at least some adherence to the conservative principles than just throw the towel in and settle for half ass liberal. No doubt we will lose some of the seats but in the long scheme of things we will knock this party to the right and that is worth the price.
Just finished doing exactly that
Trust me i understand where you are coming from in general the less Rinos the better BUT some states all you can get is a frickin Rino. At least they caucus with the party etc. or should like you said Specter was a dink and traitor. Hopefully these offbeat candidates can win this year.
we will see in November
Scaring the H*LL out of RINO’s in Congress is best thing that O’Donnell has done for us.
- We (conservatives) kicked out Bennett from his “safe” Senate seat.
- Scared McCain into repudiating just about campaign position he had run under as a presidential candidate just two years prior, simply to get past a “safe” AZ GOP primary.
- Changed NY, Mass, NH, DE, FL, and AK “establishment choices” ...
One thing is certain....if we don’t nominate them they can’t win!!!
Right on brother!!
“One thing is certain....if we dont nominate them they cant win!!!”
well that is very true however again i got back to state by state scenarios
for instance Rand Paul says some wacky things but Kentucky definitely is an R state and in this year even flawed candidates can win.
Nevada’s Angle still has a shot at taking down Reid though she is gaffe prone which hurt her. probably would have been easier with Tarkanian as the nominee but she is not as out of the Nevada loop as the ads have you believe which still makes this achievable
Buck and Miller also appear to be solid candidate running in a good year despite gaffes though in CO Buck may have to contend with the R Gov split dragging down his numbers.\
Anyway my point is that different states have different dynamics and some states probably wont elect someone they deem too “crazy conservative”.
anyway i hope she wins but right now RCP ranks DE as likely Dem where it was likely R Monday
We’ll find out come Nov. I’d rather lose with a conservative and send a message that we aren’t going to put up with the party hacks torpedoing our candidates!!! If she loses it will be because she was stabbed in the back be her own party and we need to punish them for it!!!
As you say we will see in November. Although if she does lose i think the failure will be more than just party tomfoolery. in any event it looks like the Rs backtracked and now say they will support her
