RNC wants to spend it’s money on other races than this one.
BUT
The risk if she loses the general is that we may not have the maority in the Senate- however it will not affect the more important question of whether we will have 40+ conservative votes.
The reward if she wins is we will have a majority and a frighteneed ‘moderate’ caucus.
Dear Lord....are you telling me that the Delaware GOP nominated this box of rocks in 2008?
Now that she’s running against mighty Mike Castle she’s all of a sudden dumb?
I did not like a single bit the facts stated in the article. And I am not a member of the "ruling class," whatever that means to you.
It does not help our cause if people take sides rather than stand on principle. You appear unable to believe that someone can actually object to her actions rather than like or dislike her.
You want to be governed by a person that is unable, for 15 years, to finish one course that leads to a degree, a person that failed for almost a decade to settle a $4000 debt on a $65,000 salary, a person who appears to lie left and right without any discernible reason? Good luck. I wouldn't vote for her not matter what she says.
I don’t watch Fox news.
O’Donnell is smarter than you, without question.
And she will fight for our liberty, unlike the rino GOP establishment who opposes her.
On first instinct I believe her suit.
She has the looks to attract unwanted sexual advances.
Most of this came out during her 2008 run against Biden.

You disappoint me.
Again, the Delaware GOP nominated her in 2008.
Didn’t they vet her then?
WERE THEY LYING THEN OR ARE THEY?? LY?ING NOW?
These attacks on Christine O’Donnell are becoming more and more ugly. I’m tempted to change sides and support her on the basis of her appalling treatment alone. Mike Castle ought to call on these insiders to stop the sniping.
From the PPP blog today:
53% of primary voters in Delaware think that Mike Castle is too liberal.
The race is in single digit territory-not likely to be a runaway winner.
“...speaks of the trouble Castle...having putting...race away.”
Because she had no chance to win and nobody cared. The seat is in play this year, it was not in 2008. There are real stakes this year. It is up to whomever ran against her in the primaries to do their Oppo research homework. Apparently that did not happen in 2008. This is what happens when candidates are not vetted early on - it sounds like she slipped through the cracks.
This year the stakes are high because the GOP can win the seat. She is up against a candidate with money and an establishment that wants to win above all else.
How difficult is this to get?
Again, from the article:
O'Donnell alleged in a July 1, 2005 complaint filed in district court that she had been demoted because ISI's conservative philosophy dictated that women must be subordinate to men.
This is conservative candidate filing these types of lawsuits?
I’m disappointed that Hewitt said that. He is now on my list of old f**** that do not think outside their comfy zone.
She can win if enough of us want her to win. Us being anyone who have had enough of the GOP not listening to the people.
GO CHRISTINE!
Listen to her on youtube.
If from this you are unable to discern the difference between O’Donnell and Castle, I’ll pay you 20$ to stay home on election day.
So you're cool with a candidate who acts like a left-wing whiner when it's to her benefit? That's not conservative.
The she cant win the general election line is now obviously code for we want rinos and more rinos.
Well, no, it's because she can't - and won't - actually win the general. If she wins the primary, she will lose to Coons by at least ten points. That much is pretty much guaranteed.
Now, that being said, I for one hope that she caps Mike Castle in the primary, good and hard. It means more to me to be rid of RINOs like him than it does to win every seat possible. There are plenty of Senate seats in conservative states that will be up for the taking in 2012. It's not like we're losing a seat if Castle loses - we just aren't running up the score more on the Dems.
And Mike Castle loves “glory holes”. So?
So, for you Delaware Conservatives, is Dan Gaffney really a conservative commentator, or is he a RINO? I’ve never heard him, since I don’t live in the state, but from what I’ve read on the web, before this last two weeks people all seemed to point conservatives to Gaffney as someone to be listened to.
The only things bad I’ve read about him are from left-wing sites, and a few comments this past week from O’Donnell supporters.
The RINO’s hit a new low.
Hi, CWCT. Seeing your post should make
the FReepers realize that Mitt Romney is
presumably under some rock directing this attack.
oH, JUST BRILLIANT...
So we will put in an unelectable to “prove our point”..I really don’t like this stuff coming out about her...she sounds like a whiny Lib playing the gender card. Yeesh, give me a break. I don’t trust her.
THIS is the best we can do??? The NEW conservatives aren’t batting better than the old ones.
O’Donnell decided to drop the lawsuit in 2008, claiming that she couldn’t afford the legal fees. “I definitely felt that there was gender discrimination,” O’Donnell told me in a September 2 phone interview, but she declined to elaborate. “I believe that right now that if we unite in the conservative movement, the bigger picture is at stake, and we need to put that behind us.”
