Obama has condemned Israel, has given his first speech as POTUS to Muslims, has bowed to the Saudi King, and now has supported the GZ Mosque. It doesn’t matter if he is a “closet Muslim” or an atheist, when he is behaving exactly like a Muslim would. And that’s all that matters.

What a joke! Obama has never been in the closet as far as his Muslim faith is concerned. His formative years were influenced by a Muslim Stepfather and an atheist mother. The Rev Wright saga was only a front to make people think that he had become a Christian.

...and I'm not convinced the Rev Wright's "religion" is Christianity. At least, that's not the stuff I learned in my Sunday School.

I have never believed that Obama is a Muslim. But I do believe that he is confused and is comfortable with Islam because he grew up in the middle of it. He chose a church for political gain which was mostly black liberation theology. I think, to the degree he believes anything, it’s what is politically expedient at the moment. He appears to have no core.

There’s nothing “closet” about it.

I have never believed that Obama is a Muslim.

Well then, can you tell us when he stopped being a muslim?

Obama took mengaji classes in Indonesia in which he learned the Koran in Arabic. Such classes are only for the very devout.

And even though he attended a Catholic school for a while in Indonesia it was common practice for muslims attending such schools (the majority BTW) to be excused from any Christian courses and to be permitted to study Islam during the time religious instruction was given.

Obama has even been proclaimed the "Messiah" by Louis Farrakhan and since Louie is a muslim, that would mean the islamic messiah or Mahdi.

Furthermore, Jeremiah Wright was a muslim and majored in Islamic Studies in seminary (such information was readily available online before the elections but has since been conveniently scrubbed). Jeremiah Wright established a 'Christian' church open to muslims because Farrakhan already had a muslim one just down the street. Wright was quoted (also scrubbed) that he didn't want to live his life in Farrakhan's shadow so he covered his church in a thin veneer of Christianity.

As a final point, Black Liberation Theology and Islam have many parallels and are in no way mutually exclusive.

OTOH Christianity and BLT are completely incompatible and have no common agreement.

I still don’t think he’s devout enough to be anything other than into himself. I think he probably picks and chooses his own religious plan. I think it’s becoming apparent that he’s more attracted to the Islamic elements than we realized at first.

I think his handlers are losing their grip on him.

His handlers/puppetmasters have been doing a pretty good job, but like I said earlier, eventually everyone’s true self is revealed.

I would imagine that his puppetmasters are pretty angry with him because if the house of cards comes crashing down, they will crash and burn while obama rides into the sunset with a big pile of cash and secret security protection.

Things are about to get interesting.

I tend to vacillate between your point--that he has no inner core--and the idea that he sees himself as the muslim messiah (which is why he undertook a plan to convince Farrakhan of such). I haven't considered the idea that he might be both (they seem mutually exclusive, as I think you suggested).

Lately, with his directive to NASA about muslim outreach and his comments at the Iftar dinner about the GZM, I am leaning toward the devout muslim pole.

That said, he's such a liar, narcissist, and sociopath, I don't know what to make of him.

Jesse's right on as usual:
Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND Action weighed in on this issue and said, “Lecturing the American people about the need to be tolerant of a plan to erect a mosque near Ground Zero is arrogant and foolish.” He added, “Opposition to this mosque has nothing to do with religious intolerance. It is the height of callousness and insensitivity to insult the 9-11 victims and their families by framing this as a freedom of religion issue.”

I was just making a general comment about not being mad. I did say we, not you. We as in everyone.

I believe Obama simply has sympathy and is weak towards muslims which is about the same as being one! We really need to not be mad at all of the insanity so we can remain happy and fight them without guilt!

This post irritated me. It sounds so inane. Not whether O is muslim or not. But the 'remain happy' part. People are dying because of this man, border patrol agents, military, police are killing themselves as well as dying. Drugs are being smuggled into the country and really really bad people (that is what a minuteman told me..that who are coming in now are way off the charts on being bad). I could go on and on but that is why your post sounds so out of touch.

Your response really makes my point a bit. You are irritated at me...for writing something so true. Because I want us happy and not mad does not mean I am out of touch. The darknesses purpose is to take over, yes...but it needs us irritated in order for the coming shocks to make us freak out and possibly loose faith. I really do not think you understand what I wrote. Many talk radio host while doing good for sure, are mad and irritated and that makes them less effective! The communists want us mad and irritated!
