Bradbury had to be physically removed from an LA City Council meeting after they voted down a free* monorail system - he wasn’t afraid to be vocal about his opinion of them and their vote.
*Alweg Co. (the ones who built the Disneyland system) offered to build and operate the system for 5 years in exchange for the first 5 years’ revenue, then donate it to the city.
