Ted Olson and this Judge have lifestyle choices confused for being born into a minority class. This ruling legally opens the door for any lifestyle choice including polygamy, incest, and beastiality.

Ya got that right!

On a bright note.....Hubby and are going to marry our pets. He will marry the male cats and I will marry the females, (in keeping the "gay" agenda).

Then we will add them to our health insurance to pay the vet bills.

Anything goes, right?

Next we will be told that opposition to theft (’Thou shalt not steal’) amounts to irrational religious bigotry

I recall a conversation years ago about TV advertisements. One said - The next thing you know they will advertise bras and sanitary napkins on TV! We laughed . . ..

What you hear is the screaming minority through the willing megaphone of the media. I am firmly convinced that the large majority of citizens of the US believes in conservative ideas. Part of our (the world’s) problem is that we have made it so easy to just do what we want, and the media has made the secular lifestyle so glamorous-looking, that we are, in someone’s words, “slouching toward Gommorah”.

I am not willing to give up on moral suasion just yet.

Which would make the installation of an alarm system a hate crime, right?

Thanks, people like you give me hope. Indeed, we in other parts of the world are bombarded with certain ideas, that may be on the agenda of Hollywood ‘stars’. But it is a bit tricky to fight the daily assault in the media.

In fact, people with a moral persuasion (Christian) live longer and more happily than others. One can perceive that in the ways many stars get addicted, and/or die by their own misbehaviour, or end destitute, et cetera. No wonder then that Hollywood feeds on young women: its just lust, without any firm foundation. Women over 35 quickly lose their attraction to the media moguls.

He also suggested that it was “not helpful” to criticize as unconstitutional the judge’s statements on the harmfulness of specific religious beliefs.

Why is it unhelpful?

If gay marriage is a ‘right’ then will churches be forced to perform gay marriages?

THe militants in the gay movement want more than just the gay marriage. They want to be a protected class, like black, handicapped, etc. The story will play out in a church or school near you. A man comes out of the closet and wears a dress to work, as a pastor or teacher. The students parents and churchgoers naturally complain and call for the ouster of such a man. Oops! can't do it. He is protected now. The pastor is now lecturing on promiscuity and the teacher is teaching sex education. Yippee!

The Bible will also be banned as hate speech.

I’m amazed that the question of this decisions impact on churches has been overlooked by all the media.

“religious opinions about the sinfulness of homosexuality harm homosexuals”

Therefore, homosexual opinions about the Boy Scouts harms the Boy Scouts.
Homosexual opinions about the religion harms religious people.

you misunderstand tax status.

A lot of cities etc want to tax churches and their social outreaches. This would lower the amount of money churches could use for outreach, and that outreach would of course be taken over by the government instead. They get more power, and it will cost you several times that amount in taxes to replace the services.

Socialism anyone?
