I don't care for Steele, but consider the source of this hit piece.

Considering the turmoil in the Democrat Party, Politico would like nothing better than to stir the pot of discontent with Steele.

Does Steele ever do the job which he is supposed to do?

If RNC wanted to hire a black chair person there were plenty of good conservative to choose from...Steele thinks he is an expert at snow jobs.I also think he is trying to make the most of his position for himself. Its past time the GOP had a heart to heart talk with him.

Steele was the only one I ever heard mentioned. He was the only black contender for the RNC chairman job. To get this job you have to be politicking, schmoozing and networking for years. Steele had a cadre of supporters....mostly RINOS is my guess

Ken Blackwell isn't black? Who knew?

That's true enough. He was a long time leader of Christie Todd's Whitman's political organization, which is devoted to electing pro-abortion, pro-gay, pro-illegal immigration leftists. He was there right up until the day he started running for RNC Chairman.

Thank you.

Seems hardly anyone considers the news source any more.

I’ll wager Politico never even asked Steele for an explanation, rather just finding critics to further stir the pot. Underneath, this sounds like a phony controversy to me.

“The Peter Principle: A Case Study”

More like "Affirmative Action: A Case Study"

Yea, your right about that.
RNC is saying “Oh yea, we got one too.”

Ken Blackwell would have been a solid choice. I guess Michael Steel had more support one way or another

Yeah, I guess he did. Because the leadership of the Republican Party is corrupt.

Before I would give RNC a nickel, would demand proof Steele didn’t vote for nobama, like 99% of all other bruthas did.
