While I don’t disagree that most districts are gerrymandered - this district is actually contiguous and makes some sense. If there was gerrymandering it would have involved separating the district from the more conservative Livermore/Pleasanton area at some time in pre-history (before I lived here ;-) Yet, the district consists of southern Alameda county - that’s about it. Actually makes sense (bad for me...)

You know, I’ve often asked the same question about Pelosi. Hopefully, we’ll see a power shift away from the Dems, but shouldn’t there also be someone, anyone, good to run against her (with a chance to win) in November??? I don’t even care which party, just send her home permanently.
