If you read any account of his life, you would know that he was the oppposite of spoiled. He was raised very srictly, his parents were often away, he was sent to a very rigorous and harsh school, he did military service.
but then you could say the same thing about his parents and their parents.

Well that may be true and had Camilla not had a “past” she might have been acceptable and it would have spared Diana the miserable life she had in the end. To Bonny Prince Charlie it would seem Diana was nothing more than a breed mare for the royals. After all,she had no past and it was assumed Diana was such a plank that she would just love being Princess and Charlie could go about his behaviour as seems to be the accepted custom in the higher social circles. Dian didn’t go along with that plan.And she cheated well after Charlie’s antics were known..
The sad thing for Diana is that when she had misgivings about the marriage she didn’t just call if off instead of listening to her sister who said “ Too late Duch, your picture is on the tea towels”.

Actually Canute knew he could not control the tides. He issued his famous command to shame a particularly flattersome and obsequious courtier who had made such a boast on the King's behalf.
Canute sounds like my kind of guy.
In days gone by there were lots of boys' names that have now become almost universally girls' names like this. Beverly, Evelyn, Hilary, Vivian, Courtney, Meredith, Shannon, Leslie, and Shirley are in this category.
There are other names now undergoing the same shift, for example Jordan, Taylor, Dana, Morgan, and Sydney. Not one newborn boy in a million will carry any of these names in fifty years. Also the ridiculous "Mc" names like McKenzie are already nearly all girls' names.
God warned Israel that if they established a monarchy, they would regret it. Of course, they did not listen. Prince Charles is a reminder to everyone of the evils of hereditary titles and power. It only produces idiots.
Charles is also an adept by proper, of Islamic tradition. He is considered a most worthy soul by Islamic decree. If that bit of information has eluded you, well then- just what do you of the World?
