Stone said that, "Hitler did far more damage to the Russians than the Jewish people, 25 or 30 [million killed]." Somehow I don't see Stone reading Hitler Second Book and looking at Nazi plans for Slavs, Roma/Gypsies, and other no-Aryans.
And if Americans don't know much about the Eastern Front, it is because Stalin's alliance with Hitler from August 1939 until June 41.

Stone said that, "Hitler did far more damage to the Russians than the Jewish people, 25 or 30 [million killed]." It has to be noted that Stalin bears a lot of responsibility for Russian war deaths. Stalin's battle plans look like they followed from the belief that Germany would run out of ammunition before Stalin ran out of infantry. And he probably killed more people in peace time than fighting Hitler.
At any rate, both were monsters and deserve absolutely no rehabilitation in history.
