Two separate sentences? I copied them exactly as they are in the article. He was or still is being investigated...and it is from MSNBC/Newsweek, so it is not BS. And how about this article from USA Today which mentions Hunter's suspicious connections to Cunningham and Wilkes:

USA Today: Contractor spends big on key lawmakers

How about the mention of a Federal investigation of Hunter in this NY Times article? Hmmmmmm....??? I could see your objections if I were, for example, quoting NewsMax, which states Hunter took $46,000 in campaign funds from the same contractors as Wilkes did.

And wow, guess what just popped up in my exhaustive search...your update,as requested:

LUTZ URGES NEW U.S. ATTORNEY LAURA DUFFY TO REOPEN INVESTIGATION INTO EX-CONGRESSMAN HUNTER

And wonders never cease...it is in connection to the DuPont Aerospace DP-2 testing you vehemently defended him on previously.

You should have quit while you were ahead.

“Ray Lutz, Democratic candidate for the 52nd Congressional District”

You give dingbats a bad name.

Because he is a Democrat wanting an investigation on a possibly corrupt Republican? That does not make it untrue and in fact makes it all the more likely it will be investigated further, it seems George Bush (whose name is now "mud" here) was behind the original investigation being dropped because he fired Carol Lam:

Washington Post: Prosecutor's Firing Was Urged During Probe

To quote the article I posted previously..."No one should be above the law"...it doesn't matter to me whether they have a "D" or "R" behind their names. Hunter's convenient timing for his exit from politics makes his actions all that more suspicious. Now...that is all I am going to say on this matter as I have proven my point and then some. I am sure you will come back and call me more names again, so have fun talking to yourself...bye now.

Yeah, that one.

Unless the last name is Thatcher, slim chance I’d be pushing a chick for prez.
