I also vaguely remember similar questions about Nancy Reagan's wardrobe, but I think she did make full disclose with respect to what was paid for, what was a gift, and what was a temporary loan of clothes. Michelle may not be playing by the rules.
Judging from some of the photos I’ve seen lately, I thought maybe she pulled her clothes at random out of a Goodwill bin.
It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that.
GOP_Lady, here's a kind-of related Michelle fashion ping.
She’s been hitting those drop-off boxes!
I think they only have to declare gifts of a certain value. I’m pretty sure someone donating their used table cloths and old tire tubes to be used for boob belts fall below that threshold.
Perhaps Oprah’s rejects.
Great advertising for young designers of clothes which allow husbands to honestly answer the question “does this make me look fat?”
She is not a well-dressed first lady. She needs to take some posture and walking etiquette lessons.
Laura Bush was always a class act when she was first lady.
If I ever become President, it will be Brioni MTM for me! :)
She went to the Gulf..standing on white beaches in a white dress with black splotches all over it.
Poking fun at the oil spill???
Or just stupid?
You can’t buy class.
Please, ODH, rules are for the little people, not the wife of the savior of the planet.
If one of the choices is "stupid" with respect to any of the Obamas, I'm going to have to go with "stupid" every time.
I HOPE it was donated to her because I would hate to think she paid perfectly good money for that stuff...

Nancy Reagan's Fancy Freebies May Cost the Former First Couple a Pretty Penny in Back Taxes
Not that it is proven true, but a caller to Hannity once told of Mrs Obama visiting a small boutique in Atlanta and purchasing several thousand dollars worth of clothes during the campaign. She paid by check, according to the caller, which promptly bounced. The boutique tried to quietly get the campaign to make good on the purchases and privately spoke to the police about it, who contacted the Secret Service. Finally, after months of no response, the clothes were returned to the store, wadded up in a garbage bag. The caller went on to say that the loss sent the boutique into closing. As I said, I don’t know that it was true, but that’s the story the caller related.
I think she shops at “Circus Clowns Are Us”
you are kidding right? she has never poked fun at anything...
