Well, you did it DrDeb. I finally joined his facebook! Although I vowed never to join any facebook, the exception had to be made, even though I used my pseudonym. ;*)
Thank you again for all the info you provide for us in regard to OUR President!

Oh, how I remember *that* one too. I didn't notice it until someone asked me, "where are we getting a say?" LOL.
That day's DOSE sure attracted a lot of attention.

Two quotes from W's second inaugural address:
"Across the generations we have proclaimed the imperative of self-government, because no one is fit to be a master, and no one deserves to be a slave. Advancing these ideals is the mission that created our Nation...and the calling of our time."
and
By our efforts, we have lit a fire as well a fire in the minds of men. It warms those who feel its power, it burns those who fight its progress, and one day this untamed fire of freedom will reach the darkest corners of our world.
I MISS W !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so after snooping around in the social media world, I found out that President Bush was a “special guest” at an event called No More Excuses Men’s Conference that was held at the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship church in Dallas yesterday.
The audience as you can imagine was made up of men seeking inspiration from God and they thought they were there to see guest speakers such as Tony Dungy (the former Indianapolis Colts coach) Coach Bill McCartney, Dr. Steve Farrar and Dr. Tony Evans when Bush showed up and spoke for a minute. He got a warm and enthusiatic response from what I heard. Lucky them!
You can read a first-hand account from a musician who was there to sing the National Anthem at http://twitter.com/AnthonyEvansJr
He also posted two really great photos on his twitter page

Don't you love George W. looking so relaxed and downhome casual!
