Answer to what?
You are going to compare as equal Palins non-stop campaign for McCain to NO endorsement in a primary by Bachmann?

Are you that stupid?

Stevie you said Bachmann was an example of a politician who can’t be bought, who’s not only in it for herself.

Now I think Bachmann is terrific.

But if what you say is true then why hasn’t Bachmann come out for JD?

Only political calculation, fear of offending McCain etc.
could explain her “both are honorable men” non endorsement.

“But if what you say is true then why hasn’t Bachmann come out for JD?”

Bachmann had the sense to stay out of a local primary. If she starts campaigning for McCain if he prevails in the primary, she can kiss my ass too. I doubt she will though. I believe she will stay out of it altogether. Time will tell.

But your comparison of Bachmann and Palin as equals here vis a vis McCain is pathetic.

She laid down with a leftist, globalist whore, and now must suffer the consequences.

Next time, pick a Michele Bachmann, who to my knowledge, never sold herself to a devil like McCain.

I thought you made the comparison.

I empathize totally, I avoided all the Palin threads until yesterday, and am really simply appalled.

But I really would like to see your Photoshop PLUS Caption, LOL

I avoided all Palin threads for so long, that I wasn't even aware of the "Tossed Away Like A Cheap Whore" comment.

[omg.]

“We may not agree with some of McCain’s views but he shares many with other Conservatives.

I would rather he was President today than Obama.
Anyone who says otherwise is supporting a Marxist who is tearing apart our country.”

June 30, 2009

Glenn Beck: But I just am getting I’m more and more sober every day on what it’s going to take, the battle to keep it. It’s going to be rough going.

Brad Thor: Yes. There is going to be an incredible reckoning in this country, and I’ve said this and, you know, we talked about this a week or two ago when I was with you. When I look at Obama and I look at John McCain, I actually, I’m positive that Obama was a blessing in disguise.

Glenn: Yes.

Thor: John McCain would have bled us to death with paper cuts.

Glenn: Yeah.

Thor: Obama, I’d rather have somebody walk up to me on the street and start stabbing me with a steak knife so I can have the whoa, whoa, whoa, you know, and start defending myself as opposed to

Glenn: I don’t think I would say whoa, whoa, whoa, as they are stabbing me. Yeah, I would just say, help! You know, I might say that.

Stu: (Laughing).

Glenn: But you are a little more polite than I am, whoa, whoa, whoa, stop stabbing me with a steak knife. Whoa, whoa, is there a problem here, mister?

Thor: What was Theo Van Gogh’s last words? Can’t we just talk about this when the Muslim put the knife into him in Amsterdam?

Glenn: It was, wait, wait, we can talk about this.

Thor: We can talk about this.

October 5, 2009

GLENN: Here’s Lindsey Graham yesterday. What was this on? Was this on

PAT: This was on Fox actually, on Bret Baier. I think he was filling in for Chris Wallace.

STU: Yes.

GLENN: Here’s Lindsey Graham from yesterday.

VOICE: Are you saying that Glenn Beck is bad for America?

GRAHAM: No, I’m not saying he’s bad for America. You got the freedom to watch him if you choose. He did a pretty good job on ACORN. What I am saying, he doesn’t represent the Republican Party.

GLENN: Stop right there.

STU: Thank you, Lindsey. Thank you.

GLENN: You got it. You got it. You are exactly right.

STU: Very true.

GLENN: We certainly don’t. But unfortunately for the Republican Party, I believe you do. That’s the problem. These, these

PAT: That’s why we had the bloodbath we had in 2006.

GLENN: Yeah.

PAT: And again in 2008.

GLENN: And again in 2010 and 12 if you don’t wake up. I mean, you know, they are already starting to, they are already starting to lay the groundwork now in New Jersey that you better not vote for a third party. Don’t you dare vote for a third party. Let me tell you something, America. You vote for whoever the hell you damn well please. You look into the person. How about we actually listen to Martin Luther King one time? Could we do it? Let’s judge a man on the content of his character.

PAT: No, I was pretty sure he said by his party affiliation, didn’t he?

GLENN: Really?

PAT: Is that what he said?

GLENN: No, I think it was content of the character.

STU: It’s content of the party affiliation.

GLENN: Is that what it is? Judging by the platform of the party that they never pay attention to.

PAT: Yeah.

GLENN: You judge him by the content of the character, period. If it happens to be Republican, great. If it happens to be Democrat, great. If it’s an independent, great. But judge him on the content of the character. I’m telling you, they are going to tell you again, don’t no, you can’t split the vote, you can’t split the you split the vote, then they will win, blah, blah blah, blah blah. You know what? I’m tired of playing that game. We’ve played that game in 45 years of my life. That’s all I’ve ever heard. And that little game has gotten us here. At what point do we say that game doesn’t work, that game is insane? You know what will happen? If you start voting for the people, the content of the character, these parties will look for character. They will look for people that are virtuous. They will look for people who are decent. They will start if they lose time and time again, you know what? They are not going to lose. They will learn their lesson. The lesson that they have learned now is, you’ll vote for anybody because you just don’t want to lose. Because they can convince you the other guy is going to destroy us.

Have you noticed that George Bush is a fascist, Nazi, going to destroy us. Have you noticed Barack Obama, a fascist, Nazi, going to destroy us. Oh, yeah, I say that all the time. I believe I said that about both of them. I’ve said that about both of them. Here’s the thing. I didn’t say it about one and not the other. That’s what they do.

GRAHAM: I choose not to because quite frankly I don’t, I don’t want to go down the road of thinking our best days are behind us, we need to

GLENN: Stop for a second. I am so sick of this. He never even... I’m like, if you think the best days are behind us, you are just a big old hick. No, I don’t think the best days are behind us. I think the best days are behind us if we don’t pull out of this corruption, you bet. I think there are tough days ahead, but I believe in the American people. And right now I don’t see a lot of American people in Washington. I see a lot of corruption, I see a lot of special interests, I see a lot of big business, I see a lot of special interest groups. I see a lot of people that I don’t relate to on both sides of the aisle. That’s who I see in Washington. You get some let me tell you this. I firmly believe that you could take 535 people and throw them out and then just go get 535 farmers. You know that commercial? You know that one commercial, what is it, for Nextel where they are like, we’ve got to have clean water... beep, we’ve got to have clean water. Okay, this job ain’t that hard. You could go out and get firemen. You could go get farmers. You could just go put them in Washington, seal the room so they can’t get any phone calls and special interests and all that bullcrap, and farmers would do a better job. They are going to do worse than these guys? Have you noticed we’re on the verge of bankruptcy? Have you noticed we’re on the eve of destruction for America? I believe in farmers. I believe I don’t believe in the elites and I don’t believe in the parties. Now, that doesn’t mean I can’t believe in the system if they fix it. You bet.

STU: Is it possible when he says, you know, that you think the best days are behind us is what he said, is it possible he’s thinking of, like, moderate wishy washy Republicans with no, no real belief system?

GLENN: That is true.

STU: Because it could be the worst days are behind for people like that.

GLENN: Yeah, the best days. The best days are behind for Lindsey Graham, you bet. David Brooks, Lindsey Graham, all of these people, Nancy Pelosi, all on both sides. On both sides. Katie Couric, Brian Williams, all of them. All of them. Anybody who’s playing this game, your best days are behind you.

You know, the paradigm is going to change. Americans have changed. They have woken up. They were wide awake right after 9/11 and then the parties used them. Then the parties did things for their own purposes. Then the parties used 9/11. And both of them did it. Used 9/11 to rack up debt. Keep us going. Then they’ve used race. They’ve used everything. They’ve used everything. They have used absolutely everything but honor, integrity and honesty. That’s the only thing they haven’t used. They have tried everything else. But lives, fortunes and sacred honor. That’s it. They haven’t tried that one. The American people are awake now and they are like, yeah, I’m going to go with the, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.” What do you say? Let’s give that one a whirl.

PAT: I don’t even know what you’re talking about. When you stopped talking about the Republican Party like it was the savior of the universe.

GLENN: He’s just a cynic. That’s what he is.

GRAHAM: People are genuinely upset with how much money we’re spending up here but at the end of the day when a person says he represents conservatism and that the country’s better off with Barack Obama than John McCain, that sort of ends the debate for me as to how much more I’m going to listen.

GLENN: Yeah.

GRAHAM: So he has a right to say what he wants to say. In my view it’s not the kind of political analysis that I buy into.

STU: That’s the critique from Lindsey Graham is that you’re not conservative enough. He’s worried that you think Barack Obama’s good. So Lindsey Graham’s critique of you is that you are not conservative enough.

GLENN: Right.

STU: That’s really going to hold water with any audience with any intelligence but he says it because he knows no one will think about it.

GLENN: Right. And the reason why I say that John McCain would have been worse is because the American people wouldn’t have woken up. Look, guys, we’re running out of time. That’s all there is to it. You know that Nouriel Roubini, Dr. Doom, came out and said, “You know what, there might be some more trouble on the horizon.” You think so Nouriel? I’m not a Nobel Prize winning economist and I know trouble is on the horizon. This is unsustainable. Unsustainable. With an event, the country’s dollar or financial situation could be flushed down the toilet immediately. Immediately. Without an event we last three to ten years, ten maximum. Now, how do we weather that storm? We weather that storm and we make sure that there is no that there is a bright future of Americans, by doing the right things. Americans, for the first time, are willing to sacrifice. For the first time they are willing to say, you know what? I will take less if my children can have more. We’re willing to do it! And there’s no leader. There is no leader willing to tell us those things. Why? Because they’re cowards with another plan. And that other plan does not look anything like what is outlined in the 5,000 Year Leap by our founders. No, no, no. That plan looks like progressive America, which is an awful lot of force to get you to do things you don’t want to do.

You might recall when Glenn Beck said this as it started a spat on the web and Mark Levin went after him since those comments.

“I am hoping there are a few CONSERVATIVE choices.”

Only downside from what I have seen here in Kansas to having a few conservative choices is the claws will come out. They would all want to win or why run in 2012. So then instead of it being bash the rino, it would become who is more conservative and who is the most rinoish of the conservatives. Just finished seeing this first hand here in Kansas, Trust me, it is just a reverse version of Obama vs.Hillary. They will all go after each other. And when the dust clears there will be people with bitter feelings. Both sides were left squabbling here in the Tiahrt vs. Moran race. And since Tiahrt somehow managed to win the biggest cities away from Moran; some Moran folks went out of their way to start consider Tihart the lose the country clubber, since those areas lean left and went for him, but he still lost. You catch my drift.

correction I made some spelling errors: And since Tiahrt somehow managed to win the biggest cities away from Moran; some Moran folks went out of their way to say on the web, after Moran was the winner, that Tihart, who lost, was the country clubber in the race, since those areas he won lean lefter and went for him, but he still lost. The most conservative areas of the state went for Moran. You catch my drift. I considered this senate race a mock version of the upcoming Presidential Republican Primary election.
