You really think Barrett is on ‘our’ side?

There is more evidence that Haley is a Christian than Obama.

I’ve never seen Haley on TV talking about “her Sikh faith” or saying that Sikh prayers are her favorite sound -— nor have there been any foreign officials who state that she confessed she was Sikh.

Obama, on the other hand . .

Behind every 'evangelical concern' about religion lies a snake named Huckabee.

Barrett's connection to Huckabee?

Taxes

Barrett is a staunch opponent of the federal income tax, and has sponsored legislation to replace it with a national retail sales tax, called the “FairTax.”"DeMint battles earmarks,” The (Rock Hill, S.C.) Herald, January 11, 2008.(8)"DeMint battles earmarks,” The (Rock Hill, S.C.) Herald, January 11, 2008.Barrett has worked with former presidential candidate/ Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee in promoting the FairTax. Barrett has also lobbied hard to promote a “Taxpayer Bill of Rights” requiring balanced budgets and guaranteeing return of taxes taken for retirement programs.Hyde, Paul, “Spending limits?,” The Greenville (S.C.) Nikki Haley Leads in New Poll

Nikki Haley leads Representative Gresham Barrett by nearly 10 percentage points in a new poll.

With a June 22 GOP gubernatorial runoff looming between State Rep. Nikki Haley and U.S. Rep. Gresham Barrett, a new Rasmussen survey (June 10, 500 LV, MoE +/- 4.5%) finds Ms. Haley polling far ahead of Mr. Barrett against and Democratic nominee Vincent Sheheen.

Ms. Haley nearly won the nomination outright in the June 8 primary, but fell just short and was forced into a runoff against Mr. Barrett. Ms. Haley, who had 49 percent of the vote while Mr. Barrett finished with 22 percent.

South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster endorsed state Ms. Haley earlier today.

Ms. McMaster joined Ms. Haley at his former campaign headquarters in Columbia on Tuesday to make the formal announcement.

Nikki has effectively pushed back against every slimy thing thrown at her.

Barrett is a sleazebag scumball that should have resigned last Wed.

Next Tues, Nikki will kick him in the ass and beat him like the dog he is.

Seems to me, unless Barrett is planning on retiring from politics after his loss next week, that he should think long and hard before going down this road. Eventually he'll need votes from the folks he's pissing off now.

Attention all Aiken County area Freepers. There will be a "Rally for the Runoff" and ice cream social this Sunday from 2-4 in The Alley in downtown Aiken. Nikki will be there. I'm not sure about Alvin Greene :-)

I expect this from the Dems and the MSM not from people on our own side.

Conservatives are very bad about tearing ourselves apart. There are those who seek the perfect candidate for them, for their particular values, and nothing else will do. They bash some very good conservatives who are not their candidate. Some encourage third party movements, a sure road to defeat for conservatives.

I suspect many are trolls from the Left attempting to sow dissent among us. Deception and infiltration is a Leftist MO.

I am not talking especially about those this post is addressed to, you just happened to be the first three I read. I am sure there are more I have yet to read.
