Wonder when/if Greene will have anything to say about the obscenity charge?

What everybody is missing here...or are afraid to admit...Alvin Greene, as a name, sounds black...what’s the percentage of SC voters in the Dem primary who would be so inclined to vote based on race?

I’ll bet it’s high.

I wouldn’t say a word. I suspect the prosecution will find cause to drop the charge...and then things get a bit more interesting.

Alvin is getting a fantastic amount of attention...and folks might just vote for him because they’ve heard the name mentioned a couple of times on TV. Who knows....he just might win in November and even shock the Republicans.

Rep. Jim Clyburn has called for an investigation into Greene's win

Clyburn just can't come out and admit the obvious, democrat voters are stupid.

Jensen calls it a cautionary tale for candidates. "Even if it seems like, on paper, they're the much more serious candidate than their opponent, they shouldn't just assume that the voters know that," he said.

A couple of years back, the mayor of my small town came to my house, introduced himself and talked with me long enough that I knew he was conservative, candidates here don't run under a party label. I liked the guy and told him I'd vote for him.

Two more times in the next two weeks before the election, he saw me out in the yard and stopped to remind me to be sure to vote on election day. I reassured him that I would and I'd be voting for him. It was the only election on the ballot at that time.

On election day, I went to vote and was astounded to see that his was the only name on the ballot. After the election, I found out that there were no write in votes opposing him.

“Wonder when/if Greene will have anything to say about the obscenity charge? “

He should just say it is a badge of honor within the Democrat party and he thought that by doing it he would raise his stature.

I find it interesing that Clyburn and the dems are being so openly racist! Clyburn gave three examples of black men who couldn’t possibly have come with $10,000. How racist is THAT??? Greene beat white-bread Rawls, the “party candidate” and the dems are up in arms that the black candidate won!? The republicans should be ALL OVER this. Great opportunity to show how very racist the democrats truly are.

Here it is in a nutshell...

Anybody with any sense and values and concern for our country voted a Republican ticket in this primary election.

Democrat ballots were picked up by only those voting for the wrong reasons (self interest or either Al and Jesse and Andy Stearn told me to vote Democrat).

Greene was first on the ballot. Also, the name “Greene” DOES have name recognition because it is a common name and everyone knows or has known someone with the name Greene. That’s all these idiots needed to cast their vote

Combine this with the “quality” of the democrat voters and you have a situation straight out of The Onion.

Rep. Jim Clyburn has called for an investigation into Greene's win, saying he has seen evidence of tampering in a number of races across the state. Jensen disagrees.

And I've seen plenty of evidence that the Congressional Black Caucus is completely and utterly corrupt. I think that warrants an investigation into all of the members.

Rawls sure screwed up.

A poll that showed him at 43-50% against deMint probably said he was the democrat, and just revealed that 43% of the people in the poll didn’t want to vote for DeMint.

The poll showing 4% favorability for him reveals nobody knew who he was, nobody knew they were SUPPOSED to vote for Rawls.

So when they voted, everybody used whatever scheme they have for chosing between the names of Democrat candidates.

And frankly, in random comparisons, I would expect the name “Greene” to beat the name “Rawls”. Rawls sounds kind of like a country-hick name, Greene sounds more like a real candidate.

I sure wish folks would stop bustin’ on my man, Alvin Greene.

He won, fair and square. He is the Democrat nominee.

On to the debates!

Greene won the SC Dem primary.

My sides hurt, I've been laughing so much.

Friday, a group calling themselves "Defend Alvin Greene" held a press conference in Columbia asking for Fowler's resignation.

Hopefully somebody has video of this.

Nobody is missing it, this is South Carolina, your point is an accepted fact. The percentage is near 95%.

There’s been some discussion about polls and name recognition.

IMHO, most of the name recognition came in the voting booth. If Rawls’ last name had been Johnson or Williams, he might have won.

This says to me the RATS do little, if any, research before voting.
