Well, I hope all SC Freepers will consider donating to Mr. Greene’s campaign, and perhaps even sign up volunteers. He needs to be convinced of his broad support within the state, and should not under any circumstances, withdraw.

Greene sounds like a typical DemocRAT to me. I don’t know what they are whining about.

South Carolina Democratic Party Chairwoman Carol Fowler told POLITICO she remains hopeful Greene will reconsider, but in the meantime they are speaking with their attorneys to see if there are other ways to remove him from the ballot.
I guess the only votes that really count are those from lawyers...

He actually sounds more sensible than most Democrats in that he has the gumption to understand that drilling for oil will put people to work. Maybe we ought to get a link posted to help the guy out. He should at least have a website.

Has anyone come up with an explanation yet as to HOW this guy won the Primary?

Well, Illinois has Scott Lee Cohen who won the Lt. Governors race in February but he ran an actual campaign. He withdrew within a week after winning.
This is amazing that a someone one a statewide US Senate Primary and didn’t even campaign or raise money. Democrat voters must have liked the name or the other guy didn’t do much either.
To: Frantzie
Unlike another “DemocRAT” we know. ;o)

Another black candidate the DNC is trying to railroad. Carl McCall in NY, David Patterson, Harold Ford Jr., the guy in Illinois who go Obama’s seat, and more I am forgetting.

I think it’s hilarious that the S.C. Democratic Chair wants to remove their Primary winner from the ballot.

Remove him from the ballot? Thwart the will of the people? Fascism, I tell you. Fascism!
Well, ok, it's the Democrats but practically the same thing.

Another black candidate the DNC is trying to railroad. Or as Harry Reid might say, "Greene can't be the Dem candidate. He's not one of our hand-chosen negroes."
Or as Bill Clinton might say, "That boy isn't fit to serve me coffee in a whorehouse."
Why blacks gravitate to the party of slavery instead of the party of freedom is one of history's greatest mysteries.

Has anyone come up with an explanation yet as to HOW this guy won the Primary?Wait for it ...
Wait for it ...
It's Bush's fault.
To: Chet 99
They can’t take him off the ballot - he won fair and square and is not under indictment [much less convicted] of anything ...
Hey DEMS - sometimes you just gotta eat the sh*t sandwich ...
