BD we all thank you for the detailed post, but EternalV was not necessarily copying it. That particular blog post is widely circulated, I have several email copies as well, just now, with the debate about the audio tape hotting up.
She says:
WOMAN'S VOICE "We have permission from the Gaza Port Authority to enter." MAN'S VOICE 2 "We're helping Arabs go against the US, don't forget 9/11 guy".
Two problems with Arraf's voice message. She definitely was not on the Marmana, but on another boat. So it is not a transmission with Marmana, as originally claimed. Moreover, she says that the statement on the tape comes from some other occasion, because in fact, on that night, they were far from shore and not yet about to enter Gaza port.
If they could id the other two speakers, it would bolster the authenticity of the tape. But there are many odd features about the different versions of the audio tape, and the way that those inflamatory comments appear to have been spliced in.
Thank you Black Veil, but unfortunately he did copy my thread :
Unedited Radio Transmission Between Gaza Flotilla and Israeli Navy
and then he pasted it into his post.
I had made some personal edits to my entire post, and also didn't bother correcting a couple of minute errors. Both my edits and my errors were copied whole cloth by him into his post without benefit of a link to my thread nor acknowledging that I had posted it.
Apparently if someone wishes to steal another's work, words, images, art, and/or format and then claim it as their own, the only thing stopping them is if the originator of the work catches them or if they have a conscience.
It probably wouldn't have bothered me so much but I had spent some time and effort formatting my thread. Now I'm glad I left in those minute errors. :)
Don't you have a "Report Abuse" menu selection at the bottom of your posts?
Sheesh. It was on the other thread on the same subject, posted as news on this critically important topic.
