There was one report that police located what they believe to be pills that are a date-rape drug.

So if that is true. He was planning at least a rape.

No one knows yet how it turned into murder. Obviously you dont take a girl you plan to kill back to your hotel room that is in your name, stab her multiple times, and then run out of the country leaving the body for the housekeeper to find. That makes no sense.

Something went wrong with whatever he was planning to do.

“...not to leave a bloody corpse in his room.”

I’ve been reading reports this morning that the girl was strangled, with no mention of blood.

And what about these recent news stories of suicide? I hope it’s not true and that he gets life in prison in Peru!

Found this in Dutch news:

International criminal law expert Geert-Jans Knoops told the Telegraaf on Thursday Van der Sloot would not get any special legal protection as a Dutch national in Peru. Nor is is likely the Netherlands ask for him to extradited to the Netherlands.

In addition, Van der Sloot would have to serve any jail term in Peru because there is no prisoner exchange treaty between the two countries,he said.

Nov 10, 2008 - article (I had not seen this on any of FR threads)

De Vries’ latest report, which was shown Sunday night on Dutch television, shows Van der Sloot telling someone posing as a sex-industry boss that he can get passports for Thai women and girls who think they are going to the Netherlands to work as dancers, DutchNews.nl reported.

Van der Sloot makes about $13,000 for every woman sold into prostitution in the Netherlands, De Vries claims.

If Dutch journalist Peter deVries is correct, Joran doesn't need a trust fund.

Here's an interesting posting by freeper amom in a different thread entitled:

Joran Van der Sloot in trouble again ---- http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2526387/posts

Joran van der Sloot is not only suspected of having murdered Stephany Flores, the daughter of businessman Ricardo Flores, and the American girl Natalee Holloway.

It has also been implicated in the crime of procuring the sale of Thai women to later under delusions of prostitution.

Peter De Vries, the same journalist who posed as a friend of Van der Sloot and to whom he confessed what happened to Holloway, released a report stating that the alleged murderer captured women and sold as prostitutes.

The journalist's report released on Sunday on television in Holland.

He himself said that the suspect in the death of Stephany Flores earned $ 13,000 for each woman sold and also captured Thai women and girls to take them to Holland, ostensibly to work as dancers, according to DutchNews.nl, quoted by Fox News.

Isn't that a fascinating article??

But... how does such an infamous youngster EVER do such a thing, he is so recognizable, would LEOs all over the world be aware of him??? I don't see how he could be doing this --- HOWEVER, if he is a human trafficker, then maybe Natalee Holloway IS still alive, somewhere???

I was reading some machine translated foreign news articles over at Scared Monkeys. Their server seems to be getting hammered so there may be errors on load up.

Some points in some of the articles.

The girl had $5000 she had won in a poker game. Joran stole that and has that cash at his disposable.

Looks like he bashed her head and broke her neck as well as stabbed her.

Joran wants to get to Argentina.

Chile doesn't have an arrest warrant. Just an order to locate him.

I can't verify anything. Scared Monkeys finds and posts a lot of foreign articles, machine translations only.
