Good to hear that at least one nation still embraces reason and truth.

Peter McKay, then the foreign minister, explained that its not a difficult choice between siding with a democracy thats being attacked by terrorists and a group of cold-blooded killers. No, it wasn't a difficult choice for Obama either. He'll pick the cold-blooded killers every time, even in his sleep.

"Good to hear that at least one nation still embraces reason and truth" That's the same nation that boos America's National Anthem at hockey games. They can embrace a turd.

Thanks nuconvert.
When Israel's prime minister meets Stephen Harper, his Canadian counterpart, in Ottawa on May 31st, he can expect a far warmer welcome... ties with Canada have flourished under Mr Harper. "It is hard to find a country friendlier to Israel than Canada these days," said Avigdor Lieberman... on a trip to Ottawa last year. "No other country in the world has demonstrated such a full understanding of us." Mr Harper wasted little time in changing Canada's traditionally even-handed stance towards the Middle East. One of his first moves as prime minister was to cut funding to the Palestinian Authority after Hamas's victory in legislative elections. In July 2006, he called Israel's controversial pounding of southern Lebanon "measured". He stood by his words even after seven Canadian civilians and a Canadian UN peacekeeper were killed in the onslaught. Peter McKay, then the foreign minister, explained that "it's not a difficult choice between siding with a democracy that's being attacked by terrorists and a group of cold-blooded killers."

Harper is a good man. He plays sings and plays the piano very well too. God - I wish he were our President. At least he was born on this continent.

A sensible attitude on Canadas’ part....I’m certain they will change to the opposite course as soon as someone points this out to them.

One rhetorical question, where is Senator Lieberman on this ? He has been very silent on 0bama stabbing Israel in the back.

Oh man oh man oh man. I am really really tempted to return to Canada. I came to the US because of the first class Ronald Reagan, and I am becoming very sorely miffed by increasing level of failure in the White House.

I personally think Canada is seeing the hopey changey thing in the US and is, at some level, very concerned.
