Too many Catholics on the Supreme CourtPat Buchanan decries that there would be too many Jews on the Supreme Court. Personally, i could not care less; however, i find it sheer hypocrisy for Pat Buchanan an awowed catholic to overlook that 2/3 of the Supreme Court judges are catholic. So, according to pat Buchanan who has a thing against Jews, it seems to him that t wiceas many Jews can be on the Supreme Court as long as their faith are his faith. Pat Buchanan's niece some times ago wrote to me that pat Buchanan has a family history of mental illness. His l;ate aunt was interned in an asylum as well as his older brother who is a manic depressive . Pat Buchanan, she write to me, detects a certain illness in his provocative opinions about Jews and his sympathy for those affiliated in the past with Hitler. Ishould point out that Pat is not fond either of the British. One time , he accused England for provoking World War II.

Hmmmm, interesting. I do think he is right on many issues but I do find those facts you presented disturbing. I understand where he is coming from about us staying out of World War II but for two things, first the Holocaust, the Nazi regime had to be stopped, maybe the Brits and the Russians could have done it, but it would have taken longer and more would die. Second, we were attacked by an Axis power, Japan, so we had to fight. We had to fight that war, plus I think our entry in it was inevitable, if Japan did not attack us, I think we would have been dragged into it by mid 1942, most likely from a German action.

I think one war we should have stayed out of was World War I, but that's OT and for another time.

Needless to say, I do find those things about Pat disturbing and thus he does not get 100% of my support. I think also by doing that, he is ignoring potential allies, I see Israel and the Brits as allies even though Obama seems to be wrecking that now. I wonder how Pat feels about Radical Islam?
