In a normal man's older age he's supposed to be pursuing a little more intelligence, wisdom and maturity. A man with integrity probably even realizes it's time to become less selfish.

All the depraved and perverted gay men like Elton who are aging are the epitome of rogue selfish, arrogant, greasy lipped prix! The more they age the more perverted they get! It's a sickness, no doubt.

Someone has to be. Although I might be getting too old for it.

What a failure this guy is. He was my favorite artist as a child, but only listened to his music. In those days, long before MTV, I had no idea what he was until my parents called me, with bemused faces, to see him playing on the TV. Took the enthusiasm for his music right away. Now gone forever. Deleting mp3s now . . . .

If they are touchy about Muhammad, they will touchy about Jesus.

According to Muhammad, Jesus is the greatest prophet second only to Muhammad.

BTW, the Muhammadan version of Jesus wasn't crucified and retired to Arabia after escaping the clutches of the Romans.

You know, there may come a day when Christians find more in common with the Muslim that with their neo-pagan compatriots.

I can never understand why pro-homo people can’t comprehend what the Bible says very straightforwardly about homosexuality. I’m not defending it. No one needs to. God thinks what he thinks, and if you don’t like it, take it up with him, not me. I’m also not saying that everything God condemns should necessarily be against civil law, but don’t try to tell me the Bible doesn’t say what it so clearly does.

I agree with you. Nobody is stopping Elton John from behaving the way he chooses to, so I don’t understand why it’s so upsetting that some people ... people he doesn’t even care about ... think it’s wrong.

It’s interesting that the Muslims are defending Jesus more strongly that Christians here do.

I appreciate that we all have a right to express our opinions however Laura Ingraham wrote a book about artists who, as the title said should “Just Shut Up and Sing!”. Elton would be well advised to follow that advice.

I must humbly disagree here. In this case the artist in question should not "Shut Up and Sing!" but rather just "Shut Up!"

It would be amusing to see the reaction from the Libs if some domestic Muslim group pronounced a death fatwa against the next play/movie/art-show which mocked Jesus.
