Jive Lady: Cut me some slack, Jack! Chump don' want no help, chump don't GET da' help!
“Cut the brother some slack, Jack.
Thank you, “ Homie the Clown “ ;-)
YO....sure cleaned dat $hit up, barrutha!!
You’re welcome, Fire Marshal Bill.
Very true. People need to look at a candidate’s LONG-TERM record of principles, not bandwagon when we find a “minority” who calls themselves a Republican/conservative.

Is there any latino or black in America anymore aside from a handful here who does not place their own race above anything else?
Ken Blackwell
Alan Keyes
Thomas Sowell
Walter Williams
Linda Chavez
Marco Rubio
Roy Innis
Jesse Peterson
J.C. Watts...maybe
I'm sure I'm missing a whole bunch...but that's a pretty good start.

and Watts ain't on it
neither is Chavez
and Rubio just equivocated last week
precious few minorities can be counted on to see past skin tone when push comes to shove...conservative or not
Cuban leaders were extremely disappointing last amnesty fight
I remember when Condi was feted here as a POTUS candidate and if you disagreed you were of course a bigot
Powell too damn, freepers can be so stupid and predictable
very few people transcend what they are and those who claim otherwise are lying
Thomas ...I have only disagreed with him once over the cross lighting ruling where he dissented
that ain’t too bad....my 10 year old did him as a book report for that black history month BS...drove his lib teacher ape...she had given him “middle passage”
i suggested Thomas or Booker T or Meredith or Charlie Evers
would have been a lot cooler if she said “Give him a break...it’s his first job”.
I suspect that Condi voted for the pathetic loser. She couldn’t pass the “historical” moment.
Affirmative action never works, including the Presidency.
She’s probably finishing up a new book and doesn’t want to hurt sales by being uber critical. /sarcasm on/
Race uber alles.
Geeze...how could I forget Clarence Thomas!

To err is human....to fix divine! ;-)
That's fantastic!
In my 50 years, Clarence Thomas is the only public figure about whom I would admit to becoming emotional when attacked.
Based on his life story, can there be any doubt that if he was a leftist he would be universally lauded? I don't know if there's a person in Congress or on any federal bench who had as deprived an upbringing as Thomas. Yet he never wallowed in self-pity or blamed the country for his problems. So when I hear all the scorn and ridicule heaped upon him by people unworthy to kiss his boots, it just makes me crazy.
When a minority strays from leftist orthodoxy, the viciousness from the left - PARTICULARLY from other minorities - knows no bounds. That makes Thomas's steadfastness all the more remarkable and admirable.
It also makes the comments of some here who claim that people like Linda Chavez and J.C. Watts aren't TRUE conservatives a bit laughable. Such people have not a clue what it takes for a black or hispanic person even to publicly call himself a Republican, much less a conservative. Then they have the ignorance to abandon these people in the face of the smallest apostasies to conservative orthodoxy? It's frankly a bit disgusting.
Kudos to your kid!
