is an embedded opportunity to exploit just how catastrophically serious it was when it winds up taking
‘many weeks’, or ‘many months’ instead of ‘many days’.

It will take at least three months to effectively stop the flow of oil rushing through a damaged well that is leaking oil into the Gulf of Mexico, Admiral Thad Allen, Commandant of the United States Coast Guard, and now National Incident Commander of the Gulf Coast oil spill said Monday morning.
He was probably chuckling to himself when he said this, thinking of all the political hay he can make from such an environmental crisis.

I noticed that too. Jindal seems to be acting like a deer caught in the headlights. That is why they got rid of the last gov. there. What little chance he had for higher office is pretty much gone. Maybe the governor of Mississippi could go down there, he knows how to handle a crisis.
Obama had the perfect opportunity to peddle an anti-oil campaign for his idiot base. Instead, his own leftists are calling this “Obama’s Katrina”
