Nick Cox, regional director of DCF, said that within seven days, Adams will move into a house large enough to accommodate her dozen children. He said the 1,700-square-foot home has several bedrooms.
The arrangement came after delicate negotiations took place between all the agencies and the Tampa Housing Authority, which had banned Adams four years ago from participating in subsidized housing because she owed the authority more than $6,000 in back rent.
Cox said that Hillsborough Kids had agreed to help pay off the debt, if the authority would waive its five-year ban on Adams a year early.
“I’m seeking justice,” she said, “and I’d also like for no other family to have to go through this ever again. I would like to see all my children have their needs met, have a home, have transportation, have everything they can have as a child to grow up stable.”

Those kids should be taken away now and given a chance in life.
There are no words for this woman who hides behind the Lord’s blessing and demands someone do something for her. She needs to go old school and get a hold of those three who have “aged out” of the welfare system. Make them either go to work and help out the household and/or have one of them act as a baby sitter while she goes to work. With three adults in the house, they should be able to put a roof over their heads and food in the pantry.
So, you want to have a bunch of kids, you demand that someone owes you to do it because your job is to stay home and take care of them, but you refuse to provide them a clean home? Sure.
I appreciate women and men who have big families I really do....but geesh...these children are being brought up like stray cats....

I could take two of these kids and give them a chance in life....as it is, she is their “mother” and they’ll be with her to the bitter end...
Had it happened one year later? Well, Roe v. Wade may have altered my life.
I made (avoided?) the cut by five years myself. I have no idea what situation my bio mother was facing, but her choice granted me the best parents I could have ever asked for. For that I thank her, whoever and wherever she may be.

Kinda funny that she expects someone named Cox to help her out, since it was someone named Cox who got her in that situation.

Christian charities should be able to help her out. She has screwed up and hasn't a chance to better her situation by herself. Yes, her choice of men is pretty poor, but I have empathy for her and especially for her kids.
The government owes her nothing.
If you can’t afford to care for them, give them a decent life, educate them- then don’t have them.
