This is so embarrassing and stupid that I cannot believe that the STATE OF ARIZONA CONGRESS did it. Oh, Lord, I am so ashamed to be an Arizonan right now.
This is pure racism, and I am appalled. Did you do this with the (at least more valid) issue of McCains birth? No. The State of Hawaii, the Presidents birth place, has repeatedly, officially confirmed his birth. His certified birth certificate is available online, for all the world to see. Are you telling us the State of Hawaii is part of some nefarious conspiracy? Are you nuts? Other Presidents have not been subjected to this. I know, you will say it applies to all. Dont even bother to write me back, just undo this embarrassing piece of legislation as soon as possible.
Just because you are part of a pack, does not absolve you of personal responsibility in this matter. Nor does it give you leave to make mealy-mouthed justifications, rationalizations, and excuses about your actions.
Whatever the political reactivity that drives you, you need to understand that you are supposed to represent the people of the State of Arizona wisely and well. If you are not wise or well, at least LOOK at what you are doing. Pretend you are professional, mature, and capable of governing appropriately.
I ask again that you immediately un-do this legislation and would appreciate a public apology.
Does this mean he has to show the original or the phony copy they peddle around? Arizona better put original copy with Dr’s and Hospital required.
I paused while flipping channels and saw the show segment. And, once again the real issue is being hidden behind the Waldoesque facade of "Where's The Birth Certificate".
Time after time the hosts of national talk shows, and their guests as well, are too ignorant on the subject to understand that it isn't about the birth certificate and place of birth, but about being a natural born citizen.
As long as the general public is kept in the dark as to the actual issue the longer that the issue can be pushed aside as a "kook/conspiracy/tin foil hat" issue. The moment that a legitimate debate on the issue of natural born citizen is entered into the public will know that the media fronted 'bitspeak' of "he was born in Hawaii" was all a ruse to begin with to keep them in the dark and as ignorant as they pretend to be.
We used to watch cartoons where you had to follow the bouncing ball to sing along with the song. Which cartoon of a news show is going to be brave enough to first broach the subject? I can't say, but it doesn't look good. So far neither any 'news person', nor their news agency, has shown the testicular fortitude to step up to the plate and inform their fellow Americans on the issue. There are no balls on my television screen any more.
The media as a whole, including FOX, is just as complicit and as negligent in not addressing this as Congress.
The White House has it’s panties in a twist because Arizona exercised it’s 10th Amendment Constitutional right. The White House took this move personally, which calls into question the legitimacy of Obama’s citizenship. There might not have been any other fuss made over it if the White House had kept their yap shut.
