CRAP!
I’m in the Black Pete this week.
hope its rain...
Okra! You win okra!
I suspect it will be gone by noon said the guy in 19th place in the league due to similar projections...
We went 4 wheeler riding out on the west desert and the wind was howling HARD
lots of clouds but nice and warm and dry...
it’ll be what it is but the Tan truck’s in the shop with a bad TPS so I’m stuck with manual chains...
fingers crossed...
Good for you!
Our drips have turned into a drizzle. Totally gray and damp, just lovely.
Will you ask Pete was a TPS is and why it is bad...
Was = What!!!
While you'll had gnats in your pants Saturday I was freezing my butt off in 37 degree weather catching this Columbia River Springer Salmon. That is my Salmon; one of those two yahoos might be HDX2..
Good job there Dog.
Throttle position sensor?
Good catch!
Yep! I figured it out after I stopped counting my winnings and hid it under several mattresses it occurred that big rigs must have moved on to TPS by now. We’re still getting light rain and the madding thing is it only totaled 3/10 for the past 24 hours.
I watch “Ice Road Truckers”, otherwise I wouldn’t know jack about ice. LOL
Still overcast here. Crew just called in from 60 miles south, pouring rain and lightning just knocked out the transformer.
What the hell is 60 miles south of Corpus Christi??????
60 miles south of me, Kingsville.
NAS, college, front door to the King Ranch...
Is it true that there is a movement to change the state name from Texas USA to Kings Ranch USA but the Hunt Brothers interfered...
Never heard that one. LOL
Sky King? Penny? Song Bird?
On a side note I was able to finish an exceptional book while in Portland this last weekend. The book is “Lone Survivor” and is about a (born & raised Texas) Navy Seal named Marcus Luttrell. The book centers on operation Redwing but gives great insight into the incredibly difficult training of a Navy Seal, the values of a Texas boy (and family) and the incredible survival story of Luttrell after the rest of his team, heros all, were killed one by one in a multi-hour battle with the Taliban. It’s not a war story, it’s an American values story and I’d highly recommend it.
yup.
dang thing didn’t know I was stomping on the pedal and wouldn’t get out of it’s own way!
I know the fix!
Years ago I did some side work for an oil company. The boss wanted me to put twist lock throttle cables on the trucks.
Looked at him like he was crazy but he was serious. No, I did not put them on, told him it was illegal. Don’t know if it was at the time, but I really didn’t want to be responsible for a runaway truck loaded with oil, diesel, or gasoline.
