There is no way in all the world you could convince anyone (other than perhaps yourself?) that you didn't know exactly what you were saying and what it meant, nor that you could place the blame for your filth on me.

We were both taken aback, and shared the joy of the moment of meeting a great man, who was also a great leader. I told my husband immediately, and he was as thrilled as I was that the President acknowledged my prayer for him and his beloved wife with a kiss.
At a later date, we both shook hands with President Bush (at a fundraiser for Ken Blackwell), and my sweet, strong husband of more than 30 years handed the President a photo of our son (from Iraq) and the President signed it.
It was another thrilling moment, and our brave, patriotic son wept when we handed the autographed photo to him.
