I see you still don't want to discuss Palin sucking up to a socialist.

I don't care that she's keeping her promise to her former running mate. Why is Ron Paul supporting Korkesh? Because they share the same ideology as both you and code pink. Now hurry up and bash Palin so you don't have to talk about such things.

He’s a paulite. They hate the republican party as much as the left hates the republican party and they spend all their time on conservative web-sites trying to create in-fighting amongst conservatives. And, just like the left, they absolutely DESPISE Sarah Palin.

I don’t have a facebook account either, but my husband does. It’s not a bad way to either stay in touch with or reestablish contact with friends.

You mean when Palin gave up the executive power of the Governorship of Alaska?

In order to fulfill her obligation to the people of Alaska, in response to political psychopaths firing fraudulent, costly ethical complaints at her?

When she gave up that kind of power, a move no liberal or RINO would ever dream of doing?

But Palin did it in an act of sheer selflessness and duty?

An act which no liberal, RINO, troll, mole or marxist could comprehend at face value?

Is that the time she “ran from office?”

Maybe I have been rude to conservatives, but only in defending the advancement of conservatism.

*************************

I confess I haven't a clue what that is supposed to mean.

Conservatives are people, while conservatism is ideas. My point was that people are fallible and their minds changeable, while ideas are absolute. Any person, conservative or not, can be mistaken at any given time. But if an idea is true, it’s always true.

It’s the ideas (including laws) which make the integrity of our nation, not people.

“A nation of laws, not men” is attributed to John Adams.

You're not even sure why she did it.

Ok, I'll accept that. Am I correct in thinking that your concern here is that Palin is being unfairly criticized for supporting McCain? Is there no room at all for questioning that support?

Many of us here voted for McCain, despite our grave reservations about him. One of the major reasons we did that was because of Palin. Seeing her now propping up this "RINO" is making us a bit queasy, partly because we had high hopes for her and fear this will diminish her chances as a presidential candidate.

You must be desperate.

Tell me how giving up executive power of the Governorship can be thought of as anything but honorable and selfless.

There is room for questioning as always.

I almost dumped her when it first came out, and I posted it here.

But logically there is no valid argument against her for campaigning for McCain. If she hadn’t done it, she would have been soundly defeated in the media and the amount of Palin support remaining would have been about as significant as the support for Duncan Hunter in the 2008 primaries.

You may be right. Imho, the longer she associates with McCain, the more people will question her suitability as a presidential candidate. We shall see.

That could be.

And therefore the opposite is true—when this blows over and her association with McCain fades, the emotions will fade as well.

You asked me: "But Palin did it in an act of sheer selflessness and duty?"

So, I surmised you didn't know.

On the other hand, tell my how running from a fight and not standing up for your honor is honorable.

Tell me how leaving your state and the people that voted for you to go off and give speeches is leadership in a time of small crisis?

Her brilliant, selfless and courageous move ensured fulfillment of her gubernatorial obligations to the people of Alaska by handing the reigns to a trusted conservative lieutenant governor, thereby cutting down the Democrats’ psychopathic attempts to defeat her.

Are you not able to conceptualize what it says about Sarah Palin’s character that she would relinquish that much personal power for the sake of the people of her state?
