You're right.
He isn't Scozzafava.
He's much, much worse.
"I think the Democratic Party is a fine party, and I have
no problems with it, in their views and their philosophy."
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 02 APR. 2004
"I have to tell you, [Obama] is a decent person, a person that you
do not have to be scared [of] as president of the United States."
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 10 OCT. 2008
"I have no doubt that Sen. Clinton would make a good president."
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 20 FEB. 2005
"I think that gay marriage should be allowed,
if theres a ceremony kind of thing,
if you want to call it that."
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, FEB. 2007
"But certainly in the short term, or even the long term,
I would not support repeal of Roe vs. Wade,
which would then force women in America
to [undergo] illegal and dangerous operations.
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 24 AUG. 1999
"I believe climate change is real."
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 23 FEB. 2010
"I have great respect for Al Gore."
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 02 OCT. 2008
"I would rather have a clean government
than one whose quote First Amendment rights
are being respected that has become corrupt.
If I had my choice, Id rather have a clean government."
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 24 APR. 2006
"In the long term, if you alienate the Hispanics,
youll pay a heavy price. By the way,
I think the fence is least effective.
But Ill build the G****mned fence if they want it!"
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, FEB. 2007
It's become fairly clear where Palin stands, and it isn't on the side of grassroots conservatives.
Maybe in your own limited mind... and I'm sure you hope that you can transfer your wishful thinking over to other conservatives...
Have you noticed that it's not working... :-)
"I was inspired by his willingness to buck his political party - and even his president - to do what he believed was right for this country."
Up yours, noob.
It's getting pretty bad when even the "noobs" can see how dumb y'all are... LOL ...
You don’t have to be a looney to question why someone with such obvious conservative credentials would choose to continue to associate herself with someone who stands for all that is wrong and needs to be reformed about the Republican Party.
Its really as simple as that. McCain is exactly the kind of person in the party who is the problem, the kind willing to compromise and play nicey nicey with out of control spending libs, and then use certain strategic moments to symbolically rail against big government.
The Republican Party still needs a purge while moderates like McCain are still tolerated. How much Republican big-spending failure must happen until moderates understand this? The fact that even Palin thinks its at all tolerable in symptomatic.
Palin stands on the side of winners. McCain did not lose the Presidency because of his inadequacy. He lost the election because the electorate voted against President Bush. McCain served one term in Congress and has been reelected to the Senate four times. That is a winning record.
What you need to do is prove that Hayworth can win the election before you put down McCain and Sarah Palin.
Wake up Sarah. This man did everything in his power to destroy you politically.
Is she nuts? Why is she doing this?
She must be a RINO or MCCain has dirt on her. He engages in sleazy Dem style crap so maybe he knows something.
McCain stabbing Bush in the back? He did it often.
In all honesty, I feel sorry for JD. He quit his day job to challenge McCain and tonight I learned that the four Tea Party groups in Arizona are not going to endorse "during the primary"!!! What use are they then?
I can't prove that he's electable. Nobody can, but JD would be a reliable vote in the US Senate.
If memory serves, Juan McCain opposed the Reagan tax cuts.
You were saying ...
Palins political Waterloo....
Not by a long shot... the Palin Revolution has yet to begin, like the Reagan Revolution...
The Palin Revolution is over.....campaigning for Soros funded McCain....and giving money to Lindsey Graham (another Soros funded stooge)....does not float with conservatives.
After how he let his staff tear her to pieces in the media, and didn't lift a finger to stop it?
Oh..., those are the same Romney-bots that we have here.
After seeing how much trouble these Romney-bots are right here on Free Republic... I kinda have sympathy for McCain and how much trouble he must have had with his Romney-bots, doncha know... LOL ...
Have you heard about this:
Dirty Tricks, South Carolina and John McCain
January 14, 2008
Seven years later, who is running McCain’s South Carolina campaign? Charlie Condon, the former State Attorney General who in 2000 helped spread the innuendo targeting Bridget. If you can’t beat them, hire them—even if they’ve launched racist attacks against your own daughter.

No one goes to the media and intentionally smears the VP candidate, and gets away with it, unless the big boss put them up to it. John knew he was going to lose, so he used it as an opportunity to destroy an up-and-coming conservative.
You Paulbots are not grass roots conservatives. Paul is whack job who has more in common with Lyndon Larouche than Ronald Reagan (whom Paul detested).
Yeah, it's so obvious, like you say, that even the "noobs" are on his case, too... LOL ...
You know, childish comments like that just make you look stupid. I wasn't getting personal with anyone here. No one could have been a bigger fan of Sarah Palin than I was, but this article endorsing John McCain is more than just a polite gesture to pay back any loyalty she feels she must have. This article is in reality - a GUSHING full-fledged endorsement! I have to believe she agrees with McCain's position on amnesty and "reaching across the aisle".
I have to believe at this point, that she has no intention of running in 2012 - because this is a fatal mistake in my book.
Call me all the names you want - but you know in your heart that I am right. I'm so sick of this "politics as usual crap" - that's what has gotten us here. I'm not going down that road anymore.
Oh, and by the way - I'm not the one wearing a tin foil hat - anyone that sees conspiracies because people are losing their zeal for Sarah Palin after this - well, that's just pathetic.
That's the idea. PAULTARDS are the enemy too. Never forget that.
He opposed the Bush tax cuts.
He opposed the marriage amendment.
He opposed the terror bill.
He opposed drilling in ANWR
What you need to do is prove that Hayworth can win the election before you put down McCain and Sarah Palin.
With JD gaining 15 points in 2 months on McCain....with the GOP establishment supporting McCain....JD has a very good chance.
JD will also rally conservatives....which McCain cannot do
In fact.....the Dems will have an easy time with McCain with his support of TARP.....he will be blamed for the economic collapse.....both nationally and in AZ
The Liberal media will have a field day with Sarah if she cannot help McCain in the polls
Sorry, you'll have to settle for factual mine. Repayment of the $1000 seed money for her PAC.
