The house is doing its’ “reconciliation” tap dance in order to scam recalcitrant members into actually BELIEVING there will BE a senate reconciliation measure. Some of the DUMBER house members will actually fall for it. Also, phony figures must be presented to the CBO. They will, of course, never be acted upon. AND house members who do vote for this fraud will be able to claim they were CHEATED by that EEEEEVIL senate which FIBBED about reconciliation. “You see, MR. Constituent...I didn’t really VOTE for the senate bill. I voted for the “reconciliation bill” which the senate was supposed to ACT on right away!!! Why, I was LIED TO!!!”
Somehow I don’t think many voters will buy that scam. Not now.
If you mean an "idealogical" civil war, then you are right. We have one of those going right now.

It’s dollars and cents. She’s convinced she can shave a couple bucks off the bill’s price tag by aborting more babies.
According to Congressman Stupak, Nancy Pelosi is telling pro-life Democrats:
“If you pass the Stupak amendment, more children will be born, and therefore it will cost us millions more.”
That is just how corrupt these pro-Obamacare politicians have become.

Everyone is focused on the 2010 elections..the GOP will make great gains..possibly take one or both Houses of Congress...but I think that 2012 looks even better...with redistricting..where red states will gain 8-10 house seats at the expense of blue states, and Obama on the ballott..just take a look at the Dems that are up in the Senate..Obama may well succeed in “transforming” the GOP..
It’s not going to happen because the minute the bill passes most of the Republicans will flip and protect it to the end, wrapping themselves in the flag and claiming opponents are “anti-business” and claim some kind of ideological purity, well nourished by increased “free speech money,” aka campaign contributions aka bribes, to their coffers and accounts.
The system is going to CRASH.

Which is EXACTLY THE POINT, so it can be rebuilt as a Soviet Socialist Utopia.
An ideological war can only take place when both sides play by the rules. Increasingly, Obama and the Democrat majority have shown that rules mean nothing. If the Senate Bill gets "deemed" into law, the only recourse we would have is the courts. If they fail us, it amounts to tyranny, and when you have tyranny, you have real civil war.
It will end the principle of individual right granted by our Creator and replace it with collective rights given by the government.
Whatever their excuses are Republicans will not put up much effort to overturn a national entitlement. Once passed it will be our future.

TO have a real civil war, folks have to be willing to risk life and limb.
Most folks are not willing to tear themselves away from American Idol long enough to go participate in some civil disobedience, especially if they could get killed.
I just don’t understand WHY they won’t put up a fight.
This may be a totally dumb question.....If the Senate passed a bill, and the house is passing, er, something, what is the actual text of the bill gonna be? The Senate bill?
