It's obvious that it's a lefty site to begin with, so it attracts lefty readers. Lefty readers, in turn, tend to hate Israel and support Islamists. They are disgusting pigs, but those comments shouldn't be surprising.
BTW, this same Lloyd Grove used to be a DC celebrity gossip columnist for the WaPo (don't know if he's still there), so the fact that he writes for that web site should not be surprising, either. Did you notice that Grove didn't bother to interview a single Jewish Republican for his story?
Yes, a lot of them helped to make the Anointed One, but if hypothetically no Jews had voted in the 2008 presidential election, Obama still would have won in both the popular and electoral vote. The only state which the Jewish vote may have put O over the top would be Florida, and putting Florida in the McCain column wouldn't have changed the outcome of the election.
They get what they deserve. Those that voted for Obama should move to Israel so they can see first hand what they done.
You are painting with too broad of a brush. There are many American Jews, including those here on FR, who detest Obama as much as anyone else, and for good reasons. Just this week, for example, radio talk show host Mark Levin, who is Jewish, announced that he will file a suit challenging the constitutionality of the ObamaCare bill if it should "pass" the House and be be signed by the Anointed One.
True, but Obama can rely on 70-75% or more of the Jewish community to line up and sign on with his liberal goals, with a smile.
24/7/365 Israel-bashing has degraded popular support for the Jewish State, and those who support her. Add in the ever-present dusting of Jew-hatred in the culture, and the current intellectual climate shouldn't be a surprise.
I am getting tired hearing about the LIBERAL JEWISH COMMUNITY. There are many, many conservative Jewish organizations and they are growing.
