"The 'tea parties' and similar groups that have sprung up in recent months cannot fairly be considered extremist groups, but they are shot through with rich veins of radical ideas, conspiracy theories and racism."
Translation: We won't get away with calling them an extremist group so we'll present them in a way that will make you believe they are.

not only will there be a real right-wing backlash (as opposed to a conservative backlash because "backlashing" isn't something that conservatives do) there will be an imaginary one, too.
Clever, these propagandists.
Conservatives, beware.

"...groups that see the U.S. government as their enemy more than doubled in the last year, fanned by anger over the economy and a backlash against the policies of President Barack Obama..."
anyone who sees the U.S. gov. as their friend, in these times, is insane.
this part of the article is not "nonsense." it is truth!

SPLC is just a direct mail money making machine. They are constantly alarming the dim, elderly liberals on their “house list” about some bogeyman or other. The difference between SPLC and similar operations is that the mainstream press treats SPLC fund raising material as news.

The SPLC has to expand its focus to remain relevant since the KKK is just about non-existent.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ku_Klux_Klan#Since_the_1970s
KKK members have stepped up recruitment in recent years but the organization continues to grow slowly, with membership estimated at 5,0008,000 across 179 chapters.

Al Reuters spins Stalinist lies and revises the past 10 years' history, lying by omission. The media never spent one day covering the Left Wing HATE on display at the so-called "peace" rallies....

Me and my three fishing buddies are none too happy about the cost of fishing licenses. We were complaining about it the other day while we were out using our Weapons Of Bass Destruction.
I guess we will be investigated soon as an anti-government hate group.

Southern Poverty Law Center has a
"hate map".
Hate group activities can include criminal acts, marches, rallies, speeches, meetings, leafleting or publishing. Websites appearing to be merely the work of a single individual, rather than the publication of a group, are not included in this list. Listing here does not imply a group advocates or engages in violence or other criminal activity.

Same ole recycled BS they have been spewing for 20 years.
Amazing they don’t get all worked up over the terrorist cells in the U.S.
Their political agenda is to destroy America.
Wouldn’t be surprised if they actually supported the terrorists.

Southern Poverty Law Center = a left wing anti-American Nazi or Communist group who is living high off of our tax money. The are worth over $250 million if the last article I read about them is correct. So their total lies about anyone who is NOT one of their brother Communist or left wing Nazi are totally without fact and they can be counted on to desire to place the United States in a left wing dictatorship if given the opportunity, just like the ACLU.
