The “ultimate context?” I don’t do mind reading or seances. The context was in my post and the article I was responding to.

This thread is about “Obama’s Birth Announcement” not about you or your posts.
Get over yourself. You are not the original poster.

My post was a specific response to the article you posted to me. If you don’t want off topic posts don’t post off topic posts. Your rationality has slipped off of the rails. Get over yourself.

You’re entitled to your opinions but that’s all they are, your personal opinions.
If you don’t find the precise wording of Article 2, Section 1 uf the Constitution to be germane to this subject, oh well.
As for me, I think that the Constitution is more relevant to defining who is eligible to be president than birthplace home addresses.
The state of Hawaii has confirmed Obama’s birth in that state through its Governor, its Attorney General, its Director of Health and through its state Registrar of Vital Records.

The Director of the Hawaii Department of Health has confirmed that Obama’s birth records are valid and that he’s a natural born citizen. The statement that she read to that effect was written for her and approved by Mark J. Bennett the Republican Attorney General of Hawaii. Both Linda Lingle, the Republican Governor of Hawaii who campaigned for John McCain and Alvin T. Onaka, the Registrar of Vital Records for Hawaii have confirmed Obama’s birth in the state of Hawaii as well.

Not a single statement in the above paragraph is correct, except that Fukino did say Obama was a "natural born" citizen, but her opinion carries no more weight than your own.

You know what they say about opinionjs, don't you?

Here’s documentation:

“Mark Bennett reviewed and approved Fukino statement:”

A direct quotation from Governor Lingle: “This was the place where the President was born, this is the place that represents the bridge between America and Asia-Pacific,” said Governor Linda Lingle to reporters last week.”

“Hawaii: Obama Birth Certificate is Real (please scroll down to the final sentence of the article for the reference to Governor Lingle):
http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2009-07-27-obama-hawaii_N.htm

Since Dr. Fukino is an appointee of Governor Lingle and maintains her position as Director of Health at the pleasure of Governor Lingle it is not likely that Dr. Fukino would release such an important statement with national implications without the approval of the Governor.

“Even the governor of Hawaii, Linda Lingle, a Republican who at the time was stumping for John McCain, said it was on the up-and-up.” Quote from the St. Petersburg (FL) Times
article:

And finally confirmation that Alvin T. Onaka, Hawaii Registrar did in fact also verify the legitimacy of Obama’s birth records.

Obama declared himself “A citizen of the world”. That right there is language that he is hiding something.

So what? That’s just an opinion. Carries no more weight than yours.

A direct quotation from Governor Lingle: “This was the place where the President was born, this is the place that represents the bridge between America and Asia-Pacific,” said Governor Linda Lingle to reporters last week.”

I don’t disagree that Obama was born in Hawaii, but it’s not certain, and will stay uncertain till Obama releases his bona fides.

“Hawaii: Obama Birth Certificate is Real (please scroll down to the final sentence of the article for the reference to Governor Lingle):
http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2009-07-27-obama-hawaii_N.htm

It’s not a birth certificate — source discredited for piss-poor journalism.

Since Dr. Fukino is an appointee of Governor Lingle and maintains her position as Director of Health at the pleasure of Governor Lingle it is not likely that Dr. Fukino would release such an important statement with national implications without the approval of the Governor.

Re: “said it was on the up-and-up...” Another opinion.

Again, it’s not a “birth certificate” — source discredits itself.

Remember, you can find a source for any point of view, but until Obama’s Certificate of Birth is released to the public, this pissing contest will continue.

You seem to have a need to be correct.

I have never claimed to be correct in my views. I’m learning, and in the last two years, I have learned a lot — mostly that the entire power structure of America — its government, and its media, are preventing the American People from knowing the facts of Obama’s life.

You want to pick a fight with me — I’m the wrong guy — Obama’s your guy.

One slight correction. I’m pretty good at ASSEMBLING factual information that backs up the points that I’m trying to make.

Janice Okubo, Director of Communications for the Hawaii Department of Health speaking in an interview conducted in June, 2008 with the St. Petersburg Times newspaper: “The Hawaii Department of Health receives about a dozen e-mail inquiries a day about Obama’s birth certificate, spokesman Okubo said.

“I guess the big issue that’s being raised is the lack of an embossed seal and a signature,” Okubo said, pointing out that in Hawaii, both those things are on the back of the document. “Because they scanned the front … you wouldn’t see those things.”

Okubo says she got a copy of her own birth certificate last year and it is identical to the Obama one we received.

And about the copy we e-mailed her for verification? “When we looked at that image you guys sent us, our registrar, he thought he could see pieces of the embossed image through it.”

Still, she acknowledges: “I don’t know that it’s possible for us to even say beyond a doubt what the image on the site represents.”

By the way, you incorrectly described the material in your last post as “documentation.”

It's not.

Documentation only comes from the source, and nothing that you provided comes from the source.

Once again, go complain to Obama — he's the one that won't release his documentation and we're talking about a whole lot more than just his birth records.

I’m not “picking a fight,” I’m simply posting a point of view on a political bulliten board and I voted for Ron Paul.
You made a definitive statement that everything in my previous post was incorrect. I just wanted you to know that when I post something, I can back it up with properly sourced documentation.

I’m reasonably certain that Obama has no interest in seeing this issue go away. It works well for him with his political base. He gets to play the victim.

Haven’t you noticed how the Republican Party has distanced itself from the issue? They invited Obama to speak at the winter Republican Retreat for God’s sake and not one question was raised about his eligibility. The entire national elected Republican Party dealt with him as the 44th President of the United States.

Has ANY elected Republican joined any of the Obama eligibility lawsuits?

Have either of the two people who WOULD most likely be granted legal standing to sue Obama on grounds of ineligibility, John McCain and/or Sarah Palin (the only other persons to receive electoral college votes)entered any of the Obama eligibility suits? Have they even filed an amicus brief in support of any lawsuit?

The answers to all of the above are an unequivocal “NO.”

It’s not documentation, kid. None of it is. Stop calling it documentation.

Do you believe everything you read in the newspapers?

These guys are soooooo transparent it is laughable. They should charge admission! :-)

Al Shanklin should do a parody using the Monkees’ song, “I'm a **BELIEVER”.

And then I saw Obama’s face
Now I'm a believer
Not a trace
Of doubt in my mind
I'm in love
I'm a believer
I couldn't leave Obama
If I tried

Direct quotations from elected officials are not “documentation?” That’s an interesting point of view you’ve got there.

I posted direct quotations from Governor Lingle, Dr. Chiyome Fukino and Janice Okubo of the Hawaii Department of Health.
You can read the original source, official press releases from the State of Hawaii for yourself here. Please note the Governor’s name at the top of both news releases:

Direct quotations from an elected officials is not “documentation?”

It depends on what the meaning of is, is.

Documentation is the historical paper documents in Hawaii’s archive — everything else is bullshit.

I don’t even trust what is in Hawaii’s databases, and I make that statement based upon my 40 years experience in information technology.

You are certainly free to trust or not trust whoever you chose. I take no issue with that at all.

The fact remains that since Dr. Fukino released her first statement concerning Obama’s birth in Hawaii on October 31, 2008, 63 state and federal courts including the US Supreme Court on seven separate occasions have rejected or dismissed all lawsuits challenging Obama’s eligibility.

The Indiana Court of Appeals even went as far as to declare Obama (and McCain) to be a natural born citizen in the lawsuit of “Ankeny et. al. v The Governor of Indiana” which challenged Obama’s right to receive Indiana’s Electoral College votes.

Public statements released by governmental officials do carry legal weight with judges and justices.

So clerk Number one may have been given the twins to process and another clerk may have been given Obama’s. We don't know the size of the stacks they were working on or the speed at which they worked. Or even if clerk number one took a day of sick leave. It means nothing that Obama’s number is apparently out of sequence.

They're only three digits off. There are a million things that could account for that. The clerk could've accidentally dropped the week's applications and picked them back up, stacked 'em up and gone from top to bottom.

It'd be different if they were 100s of digits off. Three digits is nothing.
